Yuvika Chaudhary Reveals Prince Narula Wants To Have A Second Baby After Ekleen, 'Sibling Toh...'

Yuvika Chaudhary and Prince Narula are one of the much-loved couples in Indian television, who often capture fans’ hearts with their Instagram posts and YouTube vlogs. The duo tied the knot in 2018 and had their first child, a baby girl, Ekleen, in October 2024 via IVF (In Vitro Fertilisation). After making headlines with their ‘second marriage’ earlier this week, Yuvika revealed that she and Prince might try for a second baby.

Yuvika says Prince is manifesting a second baby

In a heartfelt conversation on Nayandeep Rakshit’s podcast, Yuvika opened up about life with Prince Narula and their baby girl Ekleen, whom she had via IVF. The Om Shanti Om actress revealed that while her parents never pressured the couple into starting a family, the desire to expand the brood is now coming from Prince himself, who doesn’t want baby Ekleen to grow up alone. Yuvika shared:

“My parents never pressurised us. They just wanted us to have a child whenever we want. But now, they all want us to have one more kid. More than anyone else, Prince says, ‘sibling to hona chahiye.’”

Yuvika opens up on her IVF journey

After six years of marriage, Yuvika and Prince welcomed their first child, Ekleen, in October 2024. Before welcoming Ekleen, Yuvika underwent three years of egg freezing and eventually IVF. For the uninitiated, IVF is practised when the parents fail to conceive by natural means, and the egg is fertilised in a laboratory before being placed into the mother’s womb. 

Yuvika described signing risky consent forms before her procedure, which warned of serious complications under anaesthesia. Seeing her in a fragile state, Prince stepped in and asked her to cancel the procedure.  Recalling a harrowing moment, the actress shared:

“I didn’t know what IVF was, got to know about it in someone’s interview… I visited a doctor, and she scared me and said, ‘You can’t have babies’... I panicked and asked Prince to plan a child right now... I started the egg freezing process, and they took signatures that after anaesthesia, we don’t take any guarantee that you will wake up normal or not. Because I was weak, Prince asked to cancel, he said I am more important to him than having a baby.”

After switching doctors and regaining her confidence, Yuvika gave IVF another shot, and this time, her optimism paid off. Her first IVF cycle was a success, and within a week, Prince received the pregnancy results. However, despite her pregnancy, Yuvika continued shooting reels, unaware of the delicate condition. She recalled:

“My first IVF trial worked for me. When the doctor transferred my embryo… I was confident… I found out within a week that I was pregnant. She asked me to go on bed rest, but I was making reels with Prince, and we didn’t know… the blood test revealed that I was pregnant. Prince got the news first, and he revealed it to me. He said, ‘We are pregnant’, with tears in his eyes. I couldn’t believe it. I was numb. We told our parents immediately, and we both were crying.”

Yuvika and Prince get married a second time

Prince Narula and Yuvika Chaudhary have put all divorce speculations to rest by officially registering their marriage. Earlier this week, Yuvika shared a lighthearted vlog on YouTube, revealing that they were getting ‘married again’ after seven years. She confirmed that the couple is now ‘officially married’ via registry.
