This public scrutiny extended to Yuzi's personal life, as a few days later, he made a cryptic post about his 'marriage' being over. Despite this, he continued with his professional commitments, even appearing on Bigg Boss.
Recently, Yuzvendra Chahal has been in the news for all the wrong reasons. His marriage with Dhanashree Verma has allegedly hit rock bottom, and they are heading for separation. While there is no confirmation of the fact, Yuzi seems to be in high spirits. A while back, he shared a photo on his Instagram post wearing a vibrant yellow-hued tee.
In the post, he showed his back to the camera and wore a furry frog bag in the same hue. In it, he has a few chocolates inside the transparent space. Yuzvendra captioned the post as 'Pookie'. His fans were excited to see him back in high spirits and lauded his humour.

This post came after almost four days of divorce rumours surrounding his relationship with Dhanashree, a well-known choreographer and social media influencer. In the post, the cricketer expressed his gratitude to his fans for their unwavering support and hinted that his 'journey is far from over'.

In a pun, Yuzvendra further added that there are still many 'overs' left to deliver for his country. He called himself a proud brother, son and friend. Let us remind you that he didn't call himself a 'husband' and didn't even mention his wife, Dhanashree's name once. He also talked about his well-wishers' curiosity about recent events in his life and highlighted that he had seen the posts, which may or may not be true. Yuzvendra requested his fans not to indulge in these speculations. He wrote:
"As there are still many overs left to deliver for my country, my team, and for my fans. While I am proud to be a sportsman. I am also a son, a brother, and a friend. I understand the curiosity surrounding the recent events, particularly about my personal life. However, I have noticed certain post speculating on matters that may or may not be true. As a a son, a brother, and a friend I humbly request everyone not to indulge in these speculations as they have caused immense pain to me and my family."
