Yuzvendra Chahal's First Pic Outside Mumbai's Court Goes Viral Amid Divorce Buzz With Dhanashree

Yuzvendra Chahal won multiple hearts with his leg spin bowling in IPL and international matches. He has always been admired for his fun and happy-to-go nature in real life. Moreover, his comic videos and dance reels brought him a lot of fame. However, the cricketer has been going through a difficult time in his personal life. As per multiple media reports, Yuzvendra Chahal has parted ways with his wife, Dhanashree Verma, and their final divorce hearing was held recently. Amid this development, his new photo from outside the court has gone viral. 

Yuzvendra Chahal was spotted outside Bandra Family Court 

Yuzvendra Chahal has been silent over the buzz around his divorce rumours since the beginning. Recently, a news report by ABP News suggested that the final court hearing of the cricketer and his wife, was held in Bandra Family Court on February 20, 2025. Although neither Yuzvendra nor Dhanashree confirmed it, the former was spotted outside the Bandra Family Court with his lawyer. He wore a mask to seemingly conceal his identity from media glares. 

Yuzvendra Chahal was seen wearing a simple white T-shirt and his regular black-coloured framed glasses. He tried to avoid interaction with anyone outside the court and quickly left. According to the news report, the divorce hearing for the couple's divorce began around 11 in the morning. They were next asked to attend a 45-minute counselling session to explore the possibility of saving their marriage. However, after the session, Yuzvendra and Dhanashree stood firm in their decision to seek divorce. Consequently, around 4:30 in the evening, the court announced the final decision.

Reason for Yuzvendra Chahal and Dhanashree Verma's separation revealed! 

The media report revealed more details about the case. It mentioned that Yuzvendra and Dhanashree hadn't been living together for the past few months. Moreover, they had 'compatibility issues' that, in turn, became a reason for them to seek divorce with mutual consent. The duo shared different cryptic posts on the occasion, and fans are still waiting for an official statement.

Yuzvendra Chahal began playing domestic cricket with Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League before moving into Royal Challengers Bangalore, which brought him attention. Later, he stepped into the Indian cricket team with an ODI match in 2016. Since then, he has been a part of the Indian side based on his selection and was featured in Team India's World Cup-winning squad in 2024.

Yuzvendra is also well-known chess player and he met Dhanashree Verma during lockdown. He used to take online dance lessons from her, and soon, they fell in love and tied the knot in December 2020. The couple was often seen together at events and matches. Still, gradually, they unfollowed each other and deleted their pictures together towards the end of 2024, hinting that all was not well between them.
