Zareen Khan Reveals Reason For Not Doing Salman's 'Bigg Boss 19', 'Ulti Baat Bardast Nai Hoti..'

Bollywood actress, Zareen Khan, had made her Hindi screen debut in the movie, Veer next to Salman Khan. After her first movie, Zareen was then seen in Housefull 2, Hate Story 3, Aksar 2, 1921, and Hum Bhi Akele Tum Bhi Akele. Her last movie was Hum Bhi Akele Tum Bhi Akele in 2021, and post then she has not been seen in any film. The actress has done Punjabi as well as South cinema. Now, there are reports doing the rounds that Zareen has been offered to be on Bigg Boss 19, where she could get a chance to be next to Salman. However, the actress has blatantly refused to do the show.

Zareen Khan reveals why she said no to Bigg Boss 19

Zareen, sat down for an interview with Hindi Rush and shared the reason behind why she refused to be a part of the controversial reality show. Zareen did confirm that the makers of Bigg Boss 19 did approach her and gave justification for the same. One of the reasons she shared was being intolerant towards someone who backtalked or misbehaved with her. Zareen shared that she would not think twice before slapping the person. In her words:

"I don't think I can live in a house with so many people that I don't know. I don't take time in making friends, but I don't know how comfortable I will be. Also, a major reason is, ulti baat mujhe bardhaasth nahi hoti. I won't be able to tolerate misbehaviour. Mera haath uth jayega, fir mujhe bahar hie phenk denge. So, it is better I don't go (laughs). Main 100% jaanti hu mera haath uth jayega."

Zareen Khan refuses Bigg Boss 19 due to responsibilities towards her mom

Salman Khan reportedly with Farah Khan, and Karan Johar will be hosting Bigg Boss 19. The actress shared that she loves watching the show and may have even missed two to three seasons. She shared that she has her share of responsibilities and cannot even think of 'uprooting' herself from where she is and staying in the house straight for three months. Zareen felt that she would surely be evicted if someone crossed boundaries with her and spoke of her responsibilities towards her mom. In her words:

"I love that show, I might have only missed two or three seasons in between, but I watch it. First of all, I have so many responsibilities, so I cannot think of uprooting myself and staying somewhere for three months. I don't think my house can function without me, I am not talking financially. There are 10 thousand things that I have to look after. If I am travelling for a day, I call my mother five to seven times to ask about her health and other things. So, that's the first factor."

A report by the Hindustan Times mentioned that Bigg Boss season 19 will kick off with 15 participants, and there will be around 3-5 wild card entrants. The cast of the show that has not yet been finalised will get into a lot of drama, personality issues and unseen alliances. The premiere of the show is set to happen in August 2025, and the contestants will include Bollywood, TV stars, as well as influencers.
