Zareen Khan rose to fame with her smashing debut with Salman Khan in the film, Veer. While it was the superstar who launched her under his wing, the actress, on the contrary, grabbed immediate attention when her looks were claimed to be similar to none other than, Katrina Kaif. Zareen’s doe eyes, beautiful looks and performance were the talk of the town back then.
In an interaction with RJ Ayushi on Fever Digital, Zareen Khan opened up about various anecdotes from her life. The diva recalled her debut film in 2010 with Veer, co-starring Salman Khan. Zareen candidly expressed that she couldn’t believe her eyes that she got an opportunity to work with a mega star like Salman Khan. Talking about her feelings back then, she said:
“I used to keep staring at him all the time as I couldn’t believe it was real.”

Moving forth in the conversation, Zareen talked about her life at present. The diva is currently residing in Mumbai with her grandfather, younger sister and mother. She retrospected about the biggest learnings from her life so far and revealed that she has never taken anything for granted. She mentioned that there are some days when she doesn’t want to get tied up with the monotonous life and chores that she leads, but she pushes herself forward nonetheless.
In yet another interview with Bollywood Hungama, Zareen Khan shared her view on the popular yet unjust comparison that was made at the time of her debut, between her and Katrina Kaif. Evidently, this didn’t really help Zareen’s career much and it, on the contrary, sloped her career downwards. Coming back to her interaction, Zareen said that it was media who brought out this unnecessary comparison. In her words:
“Ek meri photo bahar leke aa gaye and they only gave their opinion ki oh the girl who’s starring in Veer looks like Katrina, which they even did previously with another actress which was launched by Salman only. So people without putting their brains or whatever, so accha accha wo uski tarah thi abhi yeh.”

Previously, in an interaction with the Hindustan Times, Zareen Khan dismissed frequent rumours pertaining to her personal life. The actress remarked that contrary to what was being speculated, she doesn’t pay heed to any of it. Moreover, she added that these rumours keep changing each time that she is spotted with anyone, even if it is her cousin brother in reality.
