Zareen Says Sana Khan 'Made A Complete Switch When She Married', Shares If She Was Religious Before

Once a famous Bollywood actress, Sana Khan left the entertainment industry when she got married to Mufti Anas Sayed back in 2020. The couple has two sons, and they often take to their social media and share glimpses from their lives. Sana Khan has had a massive transformation after she got married. Not only did she leave the acting world, but she also underwent a complete transformation from her former self. Now, Zareen Khan talked about Sana's transformation after her marriage to Anas Sayed.

Zareen Khan recently sat for an interview with Pinkvilla's Hindi Rush, wherein she talked about Sana Khan's transformation after her marriage. Zareen said that she doesn't know Sana that well, but they are acquainted to the extent that she respects her choice. Zareen shared that she knows Sana a little bit, and she is also aware of the fact that people often make comments about her for embracing religion post her marriage to Anas Sayed.

Giving an answer to it, Zareen said that people don't have an idea about the fact that Sana has always been religious, even before she got married. Zareen revealed that Sana used to pray regularly when she was in the industry. Stating that people often need proof to believe something, Zareen mentioned:

"I know Sana a little bit, and now people know that she has fully embraced religion. But what people don’t know is that she was just as religious when she was a part of the industry. She would pray regularly, but unfortunately, unless people see visible proof of one’s devotion, they don’t believe it."

In the same interview, Zareen Khan said that people do not need to prove their relationship to God to others by publicising it. She mentioned that Sana has always been religious, but she made a complete switch when she got married to Mufti Anas Sayed. Stating that it's definitely Sana's choice and she's happy for the latter, Zareen said:

"People assume that glamorous women can’t be religious, but how do they know what we do in our personal time? Faith is a very intimate relationship between you and God. You don’t have to publicise it. Sana was always religious, but then, she made a complete switch when she got married to Maulana sahab. It’s her life, I’m happy for her.”

Sana Khan's career: Why she left the film industry?

Sana Khan began her career by working in several TV commercials. She also appeared in more than 50 ad films. The actress began her journey in the cine-world through the Tamil movie, Uyir. She also showcased her acting skills in the Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada film industries.

Talking about Bollywood, Sana made her debut here with Salman Khan's movie, Jai Ho, in 2014. She was also seen in Wajah Tum Ho in 2016. Sana shot up to popularity with her arrival in Bigg Boss. Well, she got married in 2020. Following the same, Sana Khan announced her decision to quit the entertainment industry as she wanted to serve humanity and follow the orders of her creators. In a long note, Sana revealed that she had been finding answers to some questions which she had in Islam and realised that life in the world is for the betterment of life after death.

However, through this note, Sana declared that she had cut ties with the glamour world and would continue to follow the creator's orders. As of now, she has ventured into the business world by launching Haya By Sana Khan (fashion brand), Face Spa By Sana Khan (luxury brand), and Hayat Welfare Foundation (charitable organisation).
