Hrithik Roshan and Sussanne Khan once used to spread a dream-like aura with their mushy romance. The couple got married in 2000, after four years of dating, and their family was completed with their two sons, Hrehaan and Hridhaan. Well, after 13 years of marital bliss, the duo parted ways. Cut to now, they are living a blissful life with their respective partners. Recently, Sussanne Khan's brother, Zayed Khan revealed if he and Hrithik have drifted apart after the Krrish actor's divorce from Sussanne.
Zayed Khan recently sat for an interview with Zoom, wherein he was asked about his bonding with his ex-brother-in-law, Hrithik Roshan. Replying to this, Zayed added that whenever he gets unsure about anything, he talks to 'Duggu', Hrithik, and the latter gives him objective answers. Zayed added that Hrithik is an extremely good person and he loves the actor. In Zayed's words:

"Anytime I am unsure about anything that I have shot and haven’t liked, I would call Duggu (Hrithik Roshan) and ask for his opinion. He is very good. Also, when someone doesn’t need to be nice to you for any reason, they will tell you things objectively, and he is one such person. I really love him.”

Going forward, Zayed was asked if Hrithik's divorce from Sussanne has affected their bond in any way. To this, Zayed revealed that he and Hrithik never drifted apart, and they continued to do the things that a person with his brother-in-law would do, even when the Krrish actor was divorced from Sussanne. Sharing more about the same, Zayed mentioned that Hrithik and Sussanne's children had grown up in his hands. He further added it was the couple's decision, and they did what was best for them. Zayed mentioned:
"Never. We never drifted apart. In fact, we did everything that a brother-in-law should at that time. While it was and when it wasn’t… we were always the same because, at the end of the day, his children are my children. They have grown up in my hands. We are too mature for all of this. There are more important things. It was their choice, and what had to happen, happened.”
In the same interview, Zyaed Khan was asked about his family dynamics, as after Hrithik's divorce from Sussanne, the couple had moved on with their respective partners, Saba Azad, and Arslan Goni, and all of them share a mutual love and respect for one another. Talking about the same, Zayed said that they are like the Modern Family, and there is a lot of respect for everyone in their family. The actor added that it took a lot for them to reach where they are now, but it's beautiful now, and they all party together under one roof. Zayed can be quoted as saying:
"We are like the new modern family. It is crazy; there is extreme acceptance from everyone. It has taken a while to get there, but now that it is together, it is beautiful. We all party together, we get together under one roof, and have a ball.”

It was two years after their divorce when Sussanne Khan talked about her divorce from Hrithik Roshan. In an interview with Femina, the fashion designer shared that they had reached such a place, wherein she decided that it was better if they weren't together. She also tagged her and Hrithik's relationship as 'false' and added that it was high time that they realised that they should move on from this relationship.
