Zeenat Aman is one of the most beautiful and talented actresses in the Hindi film industry. The diva who made her debut with the film, The Evil Within has been ruling hearts for years. Hailed as the beauty icon of Bollywood, Zeenat a few months ago made her Instagram debut, and since then, she has been sharing some unheard anecdotes from her life. And yet the same happened again, as on the birthday of Amitabh Bachchan, the diva wished her then-frequent co-star and revealed an unheard story from the time they were shooting for one of their films.
Taking to her IG handle, Zeenat Aman dropped a throwback picture of herself with Amitabh Bachchan. In the photo, Zeenat looked stunning as she slipped into a blue-hued body-hugging dress featuring a plunging neckline. Big B, on the other hand, can be seen looking dapper in a pink shirt. However, it was Zeenat's long caption that caught our attention.

Sharing the picture, Zeenat walked down the memory lane and revealed a story about Amitabh Bachchan when the latter reached late on the sets of one of their films. Zeenat shared that she reached the film set early as she had a morning shift. However, it was Big B for whom she and other members had to wait for an hour. Talking about the same, Zeenat stated:
"Upon my arrival I went directly to my makeup room, and informed the crew to send me a message once Mr. Bachchan was ready for the shot. Our “roll time” came and went, but there was no sign of Mr. Bachchan. 30 minutes passed. Then 45. An entire hour went by before there was a knock on the door. An AD informed me the Mr. Bachchan had arrived. And that he’d run straight from his car to the set!"
Sharing what happened next, Zeenat Aman revealed that when Amitabh Bachchan reached the set, she was in the makeup room. After she went on the set from the makeup room, the drunk director of that film started abusing her as he thought it was Zeenat who was late, not Amitabh. Revealing how the incident left her in tears, Zeenat mentioned:
"I immediately leapt up and made my way downstairs. I had just about stepped foot on set when from across the room the director let loose a torrent of abuse! He was absolutely catatonic, and under the impression that it was I who had held up production. The cast and crew stood in stunned silence as this director ranted and raved at me. I couldn’t get a word in edgeways, and tears of indignation rushed to my eyes."
Further, in her note, Zeenat Aman shared how, after that incident, Amitabh Bachchan came up to her van and apologised. The diva shared that it took time to soften and to agree to come back on the set, but she finished that film but never signed any film with that director.

For the unversed, Amitabh Bachchan and Zeenat Aman worked in several films together, such as Laawaris, Dostana, Mahaan, and Pukar, among others. However, in an interview with the Times Of India, the actress opened up about her experience of working with Big B. Talking about the same, Zeenat stated that she knew Amitabh even before she started her acting career, as she was one of Big B's younger brother's friends. However, talking about her experience, Zeenat said that working with Amitabh was easy as she shared a good bond with him and his family.
