Zeenat Aman is one of the legendary actresses of her generation. Although, she took a long break from her acting career, she has already made a comeback in the industry. In addition, she is all set to be seen in the film, Bun Tikki, co-starring Shabana Azmi. Ahead of that, she has also graced a fashion show. However, it is her nostalgia-filled posts on her social media handle, with which she keeps baring her heart out quite often.
Taking to her IG handle, Zeenat Aman shared a monochrome picture from the shoots of one of her films. In the picture, along with her, we can also spot Dimple Kapadia and Joy Mukherjee. However, Zeenat was seen smoking a cigarette and looked stunning in a velvet full-sleeve top with white pants. On the other hand, while Joy wore a printed shirt with black pants, Dimple looked beautiful in a simple dress. Sharing the picture, Zeenat penned a long note while walking down memory lane. She recollected:
“I can’t recollect where this picture was taken, but it quite certainly had something to do with the film Chhailla Babu. Perhaps it’s a BTS shot from set. I say this because while the chairs scream 'production', I’m in my own clothes not a costume. With me are the director of the film Joy Mukherjee and the effervescent Dimple Kapadia, who must have been visiting set as she was married to the lead actor (Rajesh Khanna). She as a teenager, when she was cast in and as Bobby. Whereas I was able to deliver a blow to my 'western image' thanks to SSS (Satyam Shivam Sundaram). This isn’t a post about Dimple’s talent though she has that in spades, it’s about the little I saw of her character.”

On the same note, Zeenat then publicly praised her close friend, Dimple, and mentioned how the latter stood beside her during her difficult times. Zeenat also mentioned that she and Dimple could get big career breaks only because of Raj Kapoor. She then asked Twinkle Khanna by tagging her, to pass her love to Dimple, and penned:
"During a very difficult phase in my life she was one of a mere handful of people who publicly stood by me. This despite the criticism and scrutiny of her own life that the decision invited! In those trying times she revealed to me a strength of character that I admire to date. I don’t believe she is on Instagram, but perhaps @twinklerkhanna will pass on my love to her. Truly, a wave of appreciation washed over me when I found this picture some days ago. On another note, please don’t be influenced by my smoking in this image! I’ll admit I enjoyed a few cigarettes a day between my late teens and early 30s, but that all went out of the window the minute I became pregnant with my first born!"
Every now and then, Zeenat keeps penning down unknown anecdotes from her life and professional career. Earlier, Zeenat took to her IG handle and posted two photos of her mother, Scinda Heinz. In one of the pictures, Scinda is seen posing with Zeenat's father, Amanullah Khan, while the other one features her German stepfather, Heinz. Along with it, she penned a long note talking about her mother's sacrifices for her. The doting daughter elaborated how Scinda taught herself business when she was in her 50s and then could successfully become a businesswoman. However, when Zeenat began her acting journey, her mother left behind her career and started working as the former's manager.

In the same conversation, Zeenat explained that once she broke her mom's heart. The doting daughter revealed that her mother believed no man was suitable for her. Thus, when she started dating men, Scinda's heart was broken. Reportedly, Zeenat dated Sanjay Khan and Mazhar Khan, among others. Post her marriage to Mazhar, Zeenat was blessed with two sons, Azaan Khan and Zahaan Khan. Thus, the actress mentioned that it was only the birth of her sons that she could mend her mom's heart.
