Zoe tied the knot with Karl on June 29, 2019. Zoe was 30 years old when she got married to Karl. The wedding took place at Zoe’s father, Lenny Kravitz’s Paris home. For the unversed, Lenny’s Paris home is a three-storey, eight-bedroom 18th-century mansion and was once owned by a government minister. Lenny has lived there for 13 years, and the house is filled with luxury touches including marble staircases, French doors and famous artworks. For the rehearsal dinner, Zoe donned white bike shorts with a matching top and a beaded net dress over it, designed by Danielle Frankel.

On the wedding day, she dazzled in a classic, elegant Audrey Hepburn-inspired gown by Alexander Wang. The guests in attendance at the rehearsal dinner included Zoe’s parents, Lisa Bonet and Lenny Kravitz and the former’s then husband and Aquaman fame, Jason Mamoa. Zoe’s Big Little Lies co-stars Laura Dern, Shailene Woodley, and Reese Witherspoon attended the ceremony. Karl Glusman’s Nocturnal Animals co-star Aaron Taylor-Johnson and the film’s director, Sam Taylor-Johnson, also marked their attendance.

In May 2020, Zoe was so in love with her husband, Karl and appeared on a podcast. On Dax Shepard’s podcast, The Batman actress shared that she felt she had known Karl since she was a kid, but in reality, it’s not. She also called Karl one of the kindest people she has ever met in her life. Zoe also shared the deep connection she felt with Karl. She was quoted as saying:

"I feel I've known him my entire life. He's just one of the kindest people I've ever met. He's one of the most honest people I've ever met and I feel like I've known him since I was a kid, even though I haven't.
