Aamir Khan is not only one of the finest actors in Indian cinemas, but he is also a prolific filmmaker and producer. The actor, along with his ex-wife, Kiran Rao, recently worked on the comedy-drama, Laapata Ladies, which will hit the theatres on March 1, 2024. Ahead of the film’s theatrical release, on February 27, 2024, several celebrities, including the cast and crew of the film, attended the premiere night of the same.
The director of the film, Kiran Rao, along with her ex-husband, Aamir Khan, graced the red carpet of their film’s premiere night. Kiran looked elegant in a yellow-coloured silk saree featuring scalloped borders. She paired the saree with a powder blue-hued sleeveless blouse and accessorised her OOTN with a pair of earrings, a watch and a bangle. Aamir Khan, on the other hand, looked dashing in an all-black outfit, which comprised a kurta, straight pants, and a blazer. He completed his look with a pair of black shoes, specs and a kada.

Laapata Ladies’ premiere night was also attended by the newlyweds, Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare. The two graced the red carpet keeping up their tradition of embracing simplicity. Aamir Khan’s daughter wore a pink coloured leheriya saree paired with a black sleeveless blouse. She accessorised her look with her signature smartwatch and a pair of Kolhapuris. Ira’s husband, Nupur wore a navy blue sweatshirt paired with beige pants. He chose sneakers to complete his look for the event.

The popular filmmaker, Karan Johar, too, attended the premiere of Laapata Ladies. The director donned a quirky sporty outfit for the event. He wore a black Dolce & Gabbana jacket featuring white detailing all over it and paired it with black pants. In some of the pap videos, Karan was seen giving a tight hug to Kiran Rao. The two then had some hearty conversation and posed for the camera.

Laapata Ladies’ premiere night was attended by several other Bollywood celebrities. Kajol, who graced the event in a dark grey-hued printed outfit, which comprised a sleeveless jumpsuit and an overcoat, was among them. Irrfan Khan’s son, Babil also attended the premiere of Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao’s film. Munawar Faruiqui, Avneet Kaur, Sunny Deol, and Elli AvrRam were also present for the screening.
