Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and reports of her feud with her in-laws yet again made headlines. It all started after Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and her husband, Abhishek Bachchan, skipped attending Shweta Bachchan's 50th birthday bash, where the entire family was present. However, it seems like the actress intentionally avoided wishing her nanad, Shweta, on her 50th birthday and shared a post with her mother and her daughter, Aaradhya, just a day later.
On March 18, 2024, Aishwarya shared her customary post of remembering her father, Krishnaraj Rai on his death anniversary. In one of the photos, Aishwarya was seen posing with her daughter, Aaradhya and her mother, Brinda Rai with her late father's photo. Aaradhya looked pretty in a chikankari white kurta with centre-parted hair. On the other hand, Aishwarya kept her look subtle in white suit. She kept her makeup subtle with pin-straight hair and a bindi.

Aishwarya also shared an unseen childhood picture of her daughter, Aaradhya giving a big kiss to her nanu. Along with it, Aishwarya wrote:

On March 17, 2024, Shweta Bachchan celebrated her 50th birthday at her home Pratiksha, which Jaya and Amitabh Bachchan gifted her last year. For the bash, Karan Johar arrived in style, and we also spotted Siddhant Chaturvedi, who is Navya Nanda Naveli's beau. Not only this, the bash was attended by Agastya Nanda's rumoured girlfriend, Suhana Khan. But Abhishek Bachchan, his wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, and their daughter Aaradhya Bachchan's absence from the celebration yet again raised eyebrows about the family dynamics of the Bachchans.
While Abhishek didn't attend Shweta's birthday party, he made sure to pen a note for her on IG. He made a picture compilation of his best moments with his didi, Shweta. He penned a heartfelt note for her as she turned fifty years old. The video featured adorable childhood moments of the two siblings with their parents, Jaya Bachchan and Amitabh Bachchan. Along with it, Abhishek penned a note and expressed how much 'Shweta di' meant to him.
