For the unversed, Akriti married the love of her life, Chirag Arora, in 2016, and the couple hopped onto their parenthood phase as they welcomed their baby boy on November 1, 2023. Now, Akriti Kakar surprised everyone as she returned to work within a month of her delivery.
Recently, a paparazzo page shared a video of Akriti Kakar on Instagram, wherein the singer was seen performing live on stage. Dressed in a pink-hued printed co-ord set, Akriti teamed it with a red silk spaghetti top. She was seen standing on the stage barefoot while singing the song, Balam Pichkari, from the film, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. However, more than her performance, it was her determination and dedication that left everyone in awe of her. The new mommy impressed everyone as she got back to the stage within a month of delivering her baby boy.

However, a section of netizens slammed Akriti Kakar for getting back to work within a month of her delivery. They expressed their concern for the singer's baby and bashed the new mommy for not taking proper rest. One user penned, "Why are we even glorifying this? The mom needs to rest for 40 days complete before even starting to do their normal day to day activities. It will affect them in the long run."
Amid all the trolling, Akriti Kakar, who has given multiple hits, also took to the comment section and gave a befitting reply to the trolls. She shared that she got the strength to get back on the stage from her baby boy and added that she wants to inspire all the new mothers out there. Akriti added:
“Strength comes from the most unexpected places. I got mine from my little baby boy. Like never before !! And I’m going to continue to channelise this into life, love, and work as efficiently as I can … a whole bunch of new mothers I know have inspired me. And I hope to do the same.. simultaneously nurturing your body and your baby alongside. Because if you can, why won’t you !”

It was on November 2, 2023, when Akriti Kakar announced the arrival of her baby boy into her life on her IG handle. She shared a cutesy picture with her hubby, Chirag Arora, wherein the duo twinned in white. Akriti flaunted her bare baby bump in a white crop top teamed with blue jeans. Akriti and Chirag held their own pairs of shoes in one hand while a pair of teeny-tiny shoes was placed in their other hand. Sharing the cutesy photo, Akriti Kakar penned a lengthy note to announce the arrival of her baby boy and thanked her family, friends, and fans for all their prayers and support.
