Alia Bhatt is a brilliant actress, who has given many hit films in Bollywood. Apart from her professional journey, Alia is also a loving mother to her baby girl, Raha Kapoor. For the unversed, Alia became a mommy at the age of 30 when she gave birth to her baby girl on November 6, 2022. Since then, Alia has been on her toes to fulfil her mommy duties while completing her projects. Alia recently jetted off to New York with her husband, Ranbir Kapoor, and their daughter, Raha for a family vacation and spent quality time with them.
In an interview with InStyle Australia, Alia Bhatt opened up about her motherhood journey and shared how she enjoys doing simple activities like going for a stroll in a park and shopping with her daughter, Raha. Mentioning that she can't do that in India, the loving mommy shared that it becomes easier for her when she's abroad as only fewer people recognise her there. Alia elaborated:
“We can’t really do that in India. I can’t take her out like that, it becomes a little complicated for us. So just walking around and watching her fall asleep in her pram, taking her to cafes and shopping. I put her in my little carrier and she’s just like, strapped onto me. That’s something that I really cherish.”

Though Alia Bhatt keeps her baby girl, Raha away from social media and paps, she often delights her fans with glimpses of her daughter's belongings. For instance, on September 3, 2023, Alia shared a cutesy picture of Raha Kapoor's white-coloured bib, which featured a short embroidered label, that read, "I'm a rainbow". Sharing the picture, the loving mommy also thanked the brand from where she bought her baby girl's bib, and atop it, penned:
"Its the little things.."
Earlier, during one of the promotional events of the popular brand, Gucci, Alia Bhatt opened up about the must-dos and must-haves of her life. When she was asked about the one thing she must do every day, Alia shared how her life has changed after embracing motherhood. The loving mommy mentioned that she feels she must shower her daughter, Raha, with a lot of kisses and hugs every day. In her words:
"Get a workout in, but now my life has changed a lot. I have a little baby, my daughter. So I think the one thing I must do every day as long as I'm with her, is to give her a big tight hug and a big kiss. Not once but many times throughout the day."

In an interview with Harper's Bazaar magazine, Alia Bhatt opened up about the life lessons she learnt from her new motherhood journey and revealed that every day is a new day with her daughter, Raha. Talking about the same, she revealed that the most important thing she has learned is patience and added that having a baby gave her a sense of stillness and calm. However, she added that motherhood is highly demanding from the beginning and can be extremely overwhelming, but patience gives her a lot of inner strength.
