Popular celebrity couple, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are hailed as one of the most adorable jodis in B-town, and their PDA moments are unmissable. The couple tied the knot on April 14, 2022, in an intimate wedding ceremony. Later, Alia and Ranbir welcomed their first child, a daughter, Raha Kapoor, on November 6, 2022. Since then, the doting parents are on their toes to give their baby girl the best life.
In an interview with Vogue, Alia Bhatt opened up about her makeup routine and recalled how she asked her husband, Ranbir Kapoor, to check their daughter, Raha Kapoor's eyelashes right after she was born. Talking about the same, the Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani actress said that she wanted to make sure that their baby girl has lovely long lashes like her father. Alia added:
"I don’t have lovely long lashes like my husband. He has got like beautiful long lashes. And then when my daughter was born, I was like, ‘Check her eyes. Does she have lovely long lashes?’ And she does. Touch wood.”

In another video shared by Vogue India on their official Instagram handle, Alia Bhatt gave her fans a glimpse of how she applies the lipstick on her lips. She was seen taking the lipstick and moving her mouth across it to apply colour to her lips. Talking about the same, Alia shared that her style is considered a bit weird and added:
“The way I apply my lipstick is not considered normal. It’s a bit weird. The reason I do this, I’ll tell you why is because a lot of time after eating I touch up my lipstick, I don’t know, I think something about moving the lipstick across my mouth is just way more tedious as opposed to moving my mouth across the lipstick."
Revealing the reason behind her lipstick-applying technique, Alia shared that her then-boyfriend-now-husband, Ranbir Kapoor, used to ask her to remove her lipstick whenever they went on a night out. She added that Ranbir wants her to wipe her lipstick off as he loves the natural colour of her lips. In her words;
"I thought, that was just something that I worked out for myself, and then, I rub it off. Because one thing my husband, when he wasn’t my husband when he was my boyfriend as well, says when we used to go out at night, he used to say ‘Wipe that [lipstick] off. Wipe that off’. Because he loves the natural colour of my lip."

Alia Bhatt’s statement has not gone down well with a section of netizens. When the video was shared on Reddit, the netizens bombarded the post's comment section and slammed Ranbir for his misogynist behaviour. While one user penned, "My point exactly. There is a gulf of difference between saying 'you look pretty even without makeup' and 'wipe that off.. wipe that off'. Shows the relationship dynamics in a very telling way", another one commented, "Alia should have reply "Take your Wig Off", i like your natural hair." Check out the comments below:
