Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor were blessed with a daughter on November 6, 2022, and they named her Raha Kapoor. Alia has been fulfilling her professional commitments and her mommy duties alongside her powerful performances in the films. The 30-year-old actress is an inspiration for all the women out there. After keeping their darling daughter away from the media glares for a while, Alia and Ranbir revealed Raha’s face to the world on Christmas 2023.
In an interview with Glass Magazine, Alia Bhatt opened up about being a working mother and shared that she seeks professional help to take care of her daughter, Raha during shoots. Talking about the same, the actress revealed that she has been practising an unusual practice to bond with her daughter as she sends pictures and e-mails to the latter since the month she was born. Alia said:
“I write emails to my daughter. I started doing this the month she was born.”

Alia further revealed that she wants her daughter, Raha, to be her own person, and she doesn't want to tell her what to do. The doting mother also revealed that she wrote an e-mail to Raha saying that she wants her to be kind and work hard on herself, her relationships and her career. Alia added:
“I created an email ID and I write to her. Recently, I found myself writing her an email, saying, ‘I’m not one to tell you what to do. Even as your mother, I want you to be your own person. The only thing I wish for you is to be kind and work hard, no matter what you do in life. Work hard on yourself, relationships, and your career. Just go through the day being kind.”
Alia also shared that she wants her daughter to understand the importance of kindness in all circumstances. Referring to Indian scriptures, the actress mentioned that we should treat people with kindness no matter how terrible our day was, and that's the best way to conduct oneself. She concluded:
“No matter how terrible a day you are having, just be kind to people because you don’t know where anyone else is coming from. It’s something that goes way back into Indian scriptures. There’s a certain way that you conduct yourself. You should always treat people the way you want to be treated. That’s the only thing I will say. And I feel like a lot of that gets lost.”

It was during the Kapoor family Christmas lunch in 2023 when Ranbir and Alia introduced their daughter, Raha to the paps. For her first look, the blue-eyed star kid wore the perfect Christmas dress. In the glimpses, Raha was seen dressed in a pink and white tulle dress with a 'Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer' work embellished on it. She completed her look with a pair of red shoes and pink floral clips.
On the work front, Alia Bhatt was last seen in the film, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani.
