One of the popular actresses in the South Indian film industry, Amala Paul, is on cloud nine as she and her husband, Jagat Desai, are all set to embrace parenthood for the first time in their lives. On the work front, Amala has worked in many films in Malayalam, Tamil, and Telugu languages. On the other hand, in her personal life, Amala got married to her longtime boyfriend, Jagat in a dreamy wedding ceremony in Kochi on November 5, 2023. Earlier, she was earlier married to ace director, AL Vijay, but the couple parted ways in 2017.
Taking to her IG handle, on January 13, 2024, Amala Paul shared a new set of photos with her darling husband, Jagat Desai. In the photos, they looked simply surreal together while Amala was seen flaunting her baby bump. The pregnant actress was wearing a white-hued flowy gown featuring unique cut-out designs in the front. She teamed her look with blue feather earrings, subtle makeup with nude lips and kohl-rimmed eyes and an open hairdo. In the first two pictures, Jagat, who twinned with Amala in a white outfit, was seen caressing her baby bump while hugging her from behind.

In the following photo, Amala's husband was wearing a black-hued t-shirt while showing off his grown tummy. Moreover, the doting wifey was seen caressing his bloated tummy as they were candidly captured. Sharing the photos, she penned a long note debunking the myth that only a girl's stomach grows during pregnancy. Instead, she explained:
"Did you know? Research spills the beans that a man’s stomach grows almost as much as his wife’s during pregnancy! Time to debunk the myths - it’s not just 'SHE’S PREGNANT,' but 'WE ARE PREGNANT!' Sorry Husband. Hit that heart button if you’re on board with the revolutionary concept of shared pregnancy bumps."
It was on January 3, 2023, when Amala announced her pregnancy within one month of her wedding with her longtime friend, Jagat. To share the 'good news' with her millions of fans, Amala took to her Instagram handle and posted pictures with Jagat. In the first picture, Jagat's heart was seen showing Amala's glimpse, who was again flaunting her baby bump. Amala looked gorgeous in a red coord set, and teamed it with a golden neckpiece. Sharing the pictures, she wrote:
"Now I know that 1+1 is 3 with you!"

Soon after getting married on November 5, 2023, Amala Paul took to her IG handle, and in a collaborative post with her entrepreneur boyfriend, Jagat Desai, she shared an array of glimpses from their wedding. In the delightful pictures from the wedding, the couple's love for each other was clearly visible. For the wedding, Amala donned a lavender-hued lehenga, teamed with unique necklaces adorned with precious gemstones. Moreover, glam makeup and an open hairdo completed her look. On the other hand, Jagat twinned with Amala in a lavender-hued sherwani. Sharing the pictures, they penned:
“Two souls, one destiny, walking hand-in-hand with my divine feminine, for the rest of this lifetime. #married #twinflame”.
