Amitabh Bachchan is one of the most talented actors in Bollywood. The veteran actor has been entertaining his fans for nearly around six decades. Even at the age of 80, Big B does not step back from leaving his fans in awe of his acting talents. Moreover, it seems like the legendary actor has been going through a tough phase health-wise, as he was recently admitted to a hospital.
According to a report by News18, Amitabh Bachchan was admitted to Kokilaben hospital in Mumbai on March 15, 2024. Although not much detail about the actor's health issue is known, according to a report by ABP Live, Big B has undergone angioplasty. According to hospital sources, the angioplasty was not done in the actor's heart but on his leg because of a clot. For those who don't know, Amitabh Bachchan also underwent a wrist surgery earlier this year.

Meanwhile, a few hours ago, before the news got circulated, Amitabh Bachchan posted a video of his recent appearance at ISPL. The actor also penned a tweet on his X (previously Twitter). In his tweet, he wrote a gratitude note, which can be read as:
“T 4950 – in gratitude ever."
It was back on March 9, 2024, when Amitabh Bachchan took to his IG handle and posted a happy picture with his son, Abhishek, as they enjoyed a cricket match. The papa-son duo could be seen delighted as they cheered for their favourite team, Majhi Mumbai.
Amitabh Bachchan was also a part of the star-studded pre-wedding soiree of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant. The veteran actor and his family members were seen attending the event. However, after returning from the soiree, he took to his vlog and penned down a long note to share his experience of attending the event as well as experiencing Vantara. Amitabh wrote:
“The gates of Jalsa did not open on the Sunday .. but the gates of a wedding did occur .. up to the location of the wedding and then back just now. It has to be said the experience was one never seen before .. not just the atmosphere of the wedding, but the VanTara animal relief facility. Goodness me .. what an extraordinary experience and the most scientific set up for the animals that get maltreated, to be brought here at this farm and nurtured out if habitation.”

In an old episode of KBC, Amitabh Bachchan thanked his fans for their immense love and prayers that actually saved him after he went through an accident during the shooting of his film, Coolie. While thanking his fans, Big B mentioned:
"I will always be grateful to you. When I was injured in 1982 during the shoot of Coolie, all of you prayed for me and I can never forget that. I have this huge weight on my shoulders and I will always be indebted to my fans. I will never be able to repay it, that’s what I feel. I am sitting here because of your prayers and blessings."
