For the unversed, these photos were from the alleged lovebirds' appearance at the screening of the movie, Merry Christmas. Moreover, atop this photo, it was written that the duo is 'getting married in 2024'. What grabbed that attention was Ananya's father, Chunky Panday, who liked the post, which raised many eyebrows while leaving everyone wondering if the alleged couple is actually going to get married soon.

As soon as the screenshot was posted, netizens rushed to the comment section to drop their opinions. Reacting to the post, one user penned, "But recently ppl saying Bhavna unfollowed him ugh so confusing." Another user quoted a close source tp the actress, who claimed to have seen Aditya having a private brunch with Ananya, her parents, and her sister. The comment can be read as:
"I don't know whether marriage rumors are true or not but they are pretty serious I guess. One of my acquaintances who is very rich and affluent posted a selfie with Ananya from Soho House in Mumbai and then a video story where Aditya was having private brunch with Ananya's family like Bhavna, her younger sister and some old lady may be her grandmother."

To this, the veteran actor neither accepted nor denied the rumours. He mentioned that in the profession of glitz and glamour, actors and actresses often get linked up to others, which is pretty common. Chunky could be quoted as saying:
"Nahi nahi… wo toh hone wala hai. They say na you live by the soul you die by the soul. We are in the glamour profession ye sab hone wala hai. Collateral damage hone wala hai. You can’t prevent it."
