Disha Patani and Tiger Shroff are all set to amaze everyone with their onscreen chemistry once again, and their fans couldn't be happier. For the unversed, Tiger was in a relationship with Disha Patani, but eventually, they parted ways. Though the duo never addressed their dating rumours, their social media PDA and vacay pictures were enough to prove their love for each other. And now, years after their alleged breakup, Tiger and Disha will be seen together in a film, Hero No 1.
In an interaction with the ETimes, filmmaker, Jagan Shakti confirmed that Disha Patani and Tiger Shroff will team up in his upcoming film, Hero No 1. Reportedly, Sara Ali Khan was the first choice for the lead role, but she had to step away due to scheduling conflicts. Reacting to the reports about Disha replacing Sara in the film, the filmmaker said:
“Disha is the fittest and apt to do action. Sara was definitely a part of it, but unfortunately, we couldn’t match the date.”

The iconic film, Hero No 1, starring Govinda was a comical masterpiece helmed by David Dhawan back in 1997. And now, after 26 years, Tiger Shroff is going to prove his mettle of acting in his upcoming film of the same name, produced by Vashu Bhagnani and Jackky Bhagnani. Disha Patani, who earlier shared the screen with Tiger in Baaghi 2 and even featured in the music video, Befikra, will now be seen in the lead. Apart from Disha, Hrithik Roshan's niece, Pashmina Roshan will also be seen in the film, Hero No 1.
Disha Patani and Tiger Shroff have been on cordial terms ever since their breakup, which is commendable. A while back, Disha Patani made headlines as she was spotted arriving at an event with her rumoured ex-boyfriend, Tiger Shroff. For the unversed, Disha and Tiger were rumoured to be dating each other for a few years before parting ways in 2022. Taking to his IG handle, Tiger dropped the link to the music video of Kyun Karu Fikar, and penned a heartfelt note to congratulate Disha. His message could be read as:

After her breakup with Tiger Shroff, there were reports that Disha Patani was dating the Siberian model, Aleksandar Alex Ilic. However, recently, Disha put an end to her dating rumours with Aleksandar after he got her face tattooed on his arm. The actress was extremely touched, and she thanked him for his sweet gesture. Taking to her Instagram stories, Disha shared the photo of Aleksandar flaunting the tattoo dedicated to her on his arm and called him BFF. She wrote:
“I m so touched aiexii. So lucky to have you my friend. #bff.”
