Many girls have dreamt of marrying him deep down in their heart, but he had shattered them all on December 12, 2018, when he had walked down the aisle with his college sweetheart, Ginni Chatrath, in an Anand Karaj ceremony. Ever since, only happiness and God’s blessings have been hovering over the lovely couple. So much so, that the two are expecting their first baby in December 2019. Every now and then, Ginni’s baby bump pictures have been coming on the internet and September 9, 2019, was no different!
A famous celebrity photographer, Deepika Sharma of Deepika Deep Clicks had taken to her Instagram handle to share a lovely selfie with the to-be parents, Kapil and Ginni. Deepika had visited Kapil and Ginni at their place and flattered by their warm hospitality, she had taken to her official Insta handle to share the snap along with heartfelt words that could be read as “Thank you @kapilsharma paaji and @ginnichatrath for the amazing hospitality. Putting an end to the speculations and validating Ginni’s pregnancy, Kapil had informed the Mumbai Mirror, "I just want to take care of my wife and be by her side for now. We are obviously very excited as it's our first kid, but my mother is the most excited. She has been waiting for this moment for years now. We are just praying for Ginni and the baby's health." In the same interaction, Kapil had also gone on to share how elated is the Sharma-Chatrath family, to welcome the youngest member of their clan. Kapil Sharma had continued, "There is no prep because we don't know if it would be a boy or girl. It's a happy time for the family and everybody is looking forward to welcoming the new member. I am dubbing for a film for children. So, once the baby grows up, it will pay off."
For the ones who don’t know, Kapil had taken his pregnant wifey, Ginni for a lovely babymoon to Canada and it was for around 10 days. A Pinkvilla report had earlier informed, “Kapil will be taking off to Canada for around 10 days with wife Ginni as he hasn't taken her for a long-overdue proper honeymoon so far. In another report, Ginni’s due date was also revealed wherein a source was quoted as saying to the Mumbai Mirror, “They got the good news just a few days ago, Ginni’s due date is in December. Kapil has been busy with the shoot of his eponymous comedy show, The Kapil Sharma Show, but he has now scheduled his shoot in a way that he gets to spend more with her. She too has been accompanying him on the shoot so they can spend time together." The source had further added, "His colleagues ensure that she is well looked after on the set. At home, Kapil’s mother is taking care of her. Ginni’s family has also flown down from Jalandhar."
Ever since his wedding with Ginni, Kapil has been high on his personal life. In a chat with Pinkvilla, he was all-praises about his wife and had said, “After Ginni has come in our family, my mother spends more time with her. Sometimes, I feel they share a deeper bond and tuning than me. Ginni loves my mother a lot and via versa.” Speaking about Ginni being his lucky charm, Kapil had added, “I believe in this completely. There are so many responsibilities on both professional and personal front which now Ginni takes care of, so I don't have to worry so much.
