Imran Khan is one of the most-popular faces in Bollywood. He rose to fame with his chocolate-boy portrayals in films like Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na, I Hate Luv Stories, Mere Brother Ki Dulhan, Luck, and Kidnap amongst others. However, after subsequently hitting low professionally, the actor decided to step down from acting. It was in 2023 when Imran created a stir by dropping hints about his comeback. While much cannot be ascertained about his upcoming projects, it is due to his personal life that he grabbed a lot of attention. For the unversed, the actor who was previously married to Avantika Malik, is now in a relationship with Lekha Washington.
According to a recent report by MoneyControl, Imran Khan has reportedly taken possession of filmmaker, Karan Johar’s former 3-storey apartment in Bandra on rent. The actor has moved into the new place along with his ladylove and actress, Lekha Washington. The apartment is located in Clefepete area of Pali Hill, and has a massive sea view and is adjacent to a building where Imran’s uncle, Aamir Khan resides currently. The report further stated that he and Lekha would be paying a massive monthly rent of Rs. 9 lakhs, on the basis of an agreement that has been signed for a term of three years.

It has been quite some time when Imran Khan made his relationship official by making public appearances. However, it also led to some unnecessary chatter by the netizens, who speculated that his relationship with the actress was an extra-marital affair. Previously, while speaking to Vogue India, Imran finally broke silence on his new beginnings in his personal life, and remarked that he has been with Lekha for a long time now. Moreover, he also asserted that he has been separated from his ex-wife, Avantika Malik since 2019. In his words:
“I’ve been out of the room for a very long time. In my absence, it has been easy to speak about me. The speculation that I’m romantically involved with Lekha Washington is true. I’m divorced and have been separated since February 2019.”
Moving further in the conversation, Imran Khan reacted to the massive speculations about his ladylove, Lekha Washington being a homewrecker in the context of his previous marriage with Avantika Malik. To this, he mentioned that he bonded with Lekha almost a year and a half after his divorce with his former wife. Moreover, he staunchly labelled such nasty remarks as misogynistic in nature.
