Marking her big leap from television to cinema, Ishita Dutta has emerged as quite a versatile actor. She rose to fame, post her subsequent performances in daily soaps like Ek Ghar Banaunga and Bepanah Pyaar. In her personal life, she is married to her fellow co-star, Vatsal Sheth.
Ishita made her big Bollywood debut along with superstar, Ajay Devgn in the blockbuster film, Drishyam. She portrayed the character of Ajay’s young daughter in the film and soon won hearts for her outstanding performance. As the film has brought about its most-awaited sequel, Ishita has shared some interesting behind-the-screen stories from the film's shoot.

Ajay Devgn is known to be quite a prankster by nature, and many of his co-stars have accused him of doing so. This time, Ishita Dutta revealed how Ajay used to fool around on the film sets, playing some serious pranks with the crew members. Recalling one such incident, she mentioned:
“As always, he'd joke around and play pranks on sets of Drishyam 2 as well. We were shooting a song and we suddenly noticed someone was drowning in the sea. All of us got scared but we later realised it was a prank that Ajay sir had planned with that person.”

Interestingly, both Ishita and her husband, Vatsal, share a common relationship with Ajay Devgn. And the reason for it is that both of them have worked with the superstar. In fact, Ishita and Vatsal met each other due to Ajay Devgn himself, and it was only Ajay and his family who had been some of the few people who attended the marriage from the groom's side. She said that she knew Vatsal after his role along with Ajay in the film, Taarzan: The Wonder Car. Speaking about it on The Kapil Sharma Show, Ishita had said:
“I met my husband through Ajay Sir. I am very happy that he was our matchmaker."
It seems that Ishita and Vatsal share a warm bond with the Devgn household since they often share happy pictures with them. For instance, on October 25, 2022, Ishita wished everyone a Happy Diwali by sharing some memorable moments they spent together with Ajay Devgn and his wife, Kajol.
