However, it looks like Aishwarya has an alleged rift with her in-laws, especially her mother-in-law, Jaya and nanad, Shweta. And the mother-daughter duo never leaves a chance to show their hard feelings towards the actress.
Recently, a Reddit user shared a thread on the discussion platform and pointed out how the Bachchan ladies never discuss Aishwarya Rai on the podcast, What The Hell Navya. For the unversed, Navya Naveli Nanda runs a podcast titled What The Hell Navya and she is back with the second season. However, Navya, her grandmother, Jaya and her mother, Shweta were never heard talking about Aishwarya. Sharing their observation, the netizen also pointed out that this shows that the trio shares a strained relationship with Aishwarya.

Now that the netizen shared the post on Reddit, several social media users voiced their opinions on the same. Reacting to the post, one user penned, "Generally, it's better for the people who have ill in their heart for you to not talk about you." Another commented, "They are all super jealous of Aish and know that not in a million years they can achieve what she has." A third user wrote, "Aishwarya asked them not to because they don't really have anything nice to say. They don't even mention Aradhya there not just Aishwarya."

In the first episode of Navya Naveli Nanda's podcast, What The Hell Navya Season 2, the star kid along with her mother, Shweta Bachchan and grandmother, Jaya Bachchan, talked about women in society. During the same, Jaya expressed her love towards her daughter, Shweta and shared that she is her strength more than her son, Abhishek. Revealing the reason behind the same, Jaya said:
"She is my strength. She is, more than my son, she's my strength. I don't know whether that's because she's a woman. But she's my strength."

When the clip from the podcast was shared on Reddit, netizens were shocked to see how Jaya Bachchan was supporting her daughter, Shweta Bachchan. Reacting to the post, one user penned, "Lagta hain Abhishek is bedhakal from all their jaidaad." Another commented, "Because she is a woman she is your strength? What has it to do with her gender, Maybe your son is a loser who didn't achieve even 10 percent of what Aish did and that's why you think she is a strong woman."

Shweta revealed that she loves that Aishwarya is a self-made, strong woman and a fantastic mother and tolerates her time management. However, revealing what she hates about her sister-in-law, Shweta said:
“I hate that she takes forever to return phone calls and messages. I tolerate her time management.”
