Aamir Khan is one of the most talented actors in Bollywood. The actor doesn't skip a chance to leave their fans in awe of his acting chops, handsome looks, charming personality, and more. Talking about his personal life, Aamir got married to Reena Dutta in 1986, with whom he has two kids, Junaid and Ira. Moreover, it was in 2002, when Reena and Aamir got divorced. After that, Aamir Khan tied the knot in December 2005. After six years of marital bliss, Aamir and Kiran welcomed their son, Azad Rao Khan, into their lives. However, in 2022, when the much-in-love couple got divorced, leaving their fanbase shocked.
Although Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao are divorced, they share an adorable bond with one another. Not only this, Kiran and Aamir's first wife, Reena Dutta, too, have a cutesy bond with them. And in a recent interview, Kiran opened up about the same. In a recent interview with The Week, Kiran was asked about her close bond with Aamir Khan's family and his ex-wife, Reena. To this, the filmmaker stated that inclusivity is something that comes to her naturally. Citing an example, Kiran added how all of the family members were together at Ira Khan's wedding, which none of them had to give much thought to. Kiran can be quoted as saying:
"It comes very naturally to us as people to be inclusive. My family was also at the wedding. It’s something that we honestly didn’t have to think about. We are a family. In fact, we have Monday night dinners where we all get together.”

In the same interview, Kiran Rao stated that she and her ex-in-laws, along with Reena Dutta, live in the housing society, and each of them likes each other for the kind of human they are. Kiran stated that she often hangs out with Reena and Aamir’s cousin, Nuzhat, even in the absence of Aamir. The filmmaker then remarked that she and Aamir parted ways as a couple, but they are all family. Kiran remarked:
"We also live in the same housing society. My mother-in-law stays upstairs, Reena lives next door and Nuzhat (Aamir’s cousin) also lives nearby. It’s because we genuinely like each other as human beings. I hang out with Reena and Nuzhat independently of Aamir, too. My sisters-in-law live upstairs and I adore them. These are relationships you shouldn’t lose if you get divorced. Aamir and I didn’t have an acrimonious divorce; we may have parted as a couple, but we are very much a family. "
Talking more about the same, Kiran added how she highly encourages the idea of sharing a familial bond with everyone in a family, even if the marriage is broken. Kira can be quoted as saying:
"I encourage this. If you don’t have a familial bond at the end of a marriage, it’s something that you might be losing out on because there are so many years that you would have put into that relationship, and you take away the best from it."
Aamir Khan's daughter, Ira Khan got married a few days ago. There's no denying the fact that the whole family enjoyed their hearts out, and Kiran Rao and his son, Azad were no exception. At Ira Khan's wedding, both Kiran and Azad performed songs. However, in the recent interview, Kiran heaped praises on Ira and called her a beautiful painter just like her mom. The filmmaker also stated that Ira once gifted her a painting of her beloved city, Berlin. Kiran also added that in between the hustle-bustle of the wedding, the way Ira gave everyone a gift that would be appealing to them left everyone in tears. Kiran mentioned:
"It’s the street where Café Cinema is located. I didn’t expect it. It was the sweetest gift she could give. In the middle of a wedding, amidst all the planning, to think of individual gifts that would appeal to each of us… We were in tears."

In a viral video from Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare's registry marriage, Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao could be seen enjoying their hearts out. In one of the videos, Aamir could be seen planting a kiss on Kiran Rao's cheek while Reena was present, and they spoke volumes about the kind of show they share.
