Kunal Kemmu is one of the prominent actors in Bollywood. The actor stepped into the acting world as a child artist by working in the television series, Gul Gulshan Gulfaam. Later, he appeared in movies like Sir, Raja Hindustani, Zakhm, Bhai, and Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke as a child artist. The actor played the lead role in the movie, Kalyug. He also won the hearts of his fans with his roles in movies like Dhol, Superstar, Blood Money, and Golmaal 3, among so many others. In his personal life, Kunal is married to Soha Ali Khan, and the duo is parents of their adorable daughter, Inaaya.
Recently, Kunal Kemmu appeared in Raj Shamani’s podcast, wherein he talked about his love story with Soha Ali Khan. He also shared deets about his first meeting with Soha's family members. Talking about how he met Soha for the first time, Kunal added that he met her for the first time on a film set and ended up doing the film, Dhundte Rahe Jaoge together. Kunal added that during their first film shoot, they didn't interact that much. However, they reunited for the film, 99, wherein they started to spend more time with each other and became good friends. Kunal added that they couldn't understand when they became boyfriend or girlfriend because they had already become best of friends back then.

In the same interview, the host asked Kunal Kemmu if there had been a moment when their relationship took a romantic angle. To this, Kunal added that he was interested in Soha, but he didn't approach her in a way that he wanted to date the actress as he thought she was way out of her league.
Talking more about the same, the actor recalled a funny anecdote and stated that he and his friends went to watch Soha Ali Khan's movie, Dil Maange More. The actor said he didn't like the movie much, but he liked Soha in the movie, and he ended up telling his friend, 'Dekhna chote ye ekdin meri girlfriend hogi'. However, the actor didn't even remember this until his friend reminded him of it.

In the same podcast, Kunal Kemmu recalled how his first meeting with Soha Ali Khan's parents, Sharmila Tagore and Tiger Ali Khan Pataudi. Kunal shared that his first meeting with Soha's parents had been intimidating. He said at first, Sharmila didn't make eye contact with him, and she asked him questions while looking at the magazine. Kunal also added that he met Saif Ali Khan for the first time at a friend’s place, where they used to go to play pool. The actor added that the first thing Saif told him was that the former had good biceps. Talking about the same, Kunal shared:
"The most intimidating was meeting Amma (Sharmila Tagore). Dad (Tiger Ali Khan Pataudi) was also pretty cool, but I was just intimidated anyways, even though he’s pretty sweet. I remember Amma didn’t make eye contact with me for the longest time. Her questions weren’t directed at me. She asked, ‘So, what do you do?’ looking at a magazine. That was the first meeting, in the second meeting I got eye contact, and then we became really cool.”
