Bigg Boss 17 has become one of the audience's favourite shows, courtesy of its high-octane drama. It was on January 28, 2024, when BB 17 announced Munawar Faruqui as its winner. While being on the show and even after that, Munawar's equation with Mannara Chopra grabbed a lot of attention. For the unversed, Mannara ended up as the 2nd runner-up in the show. And now it's been speculated that the duo has collaborated on a project.
In Bigg Boss 17, Mannara Chopra shared that she likes Munawar, however, she later denied the same and stated that she is only friends with the comedian. On the other hand, Munawar, in a revelation, stated that Mannara kissed him on his cheeks during a Diwali party in BB 17. After learning about Munawar's claims, Mannara asked for a public apology. It was on February 6, 2024, when the duo again crossed paths with each other at Abhishek's success bash.

On the professional front, Mannara recently collaborated with Abhishek Kumar. And now, as per a post by Film Window, Mannara Chopra and Munawar Faruqui have signed up for a web series. As per the post, the web series will be under the direction of Ekta Kapoor. However, it's worth mentioning that no such news has been confirmed either by Munawar or Mannara.
As soon as the post was dropped, netizens rushed to the comment section to drop their opinions. While some users seemed excited about the official announcement, others called it a mere rumour as Munawar reportedly shared that he was not interested in acting but in writing web series. One user penned, "Maybe in your dreams." Another comment can be read as "Munawar ka ni confirm he is focused on writing q Web series instead of acting. 1 saal ke projects pehly se commitment kiye huee." A third comment reads, "I am very excited... Munara bond is best... Webseries will be superhit."
During Abhishek Kumar's success bash, Mannara Chopra and the former were indulged in a media interaction. However, amid this, Munawar stepped in and congratulated the duo for their music video and left the place in a hurry. The BB 17 winner didn't even stop after Abhishek and the paps called him. As soon as the video was posted on Reddit, netizens rushed to the comment section and penned their opinions.

In a chat with Ankita Lokhande in BB 17 house, Munawar revealed that Mannara Chopra had kissed him on his cheeks at a Diwali party. Later, he also added that he hadn't mentioned the same to anyone in the fear that Mannara's reputation might get spoiled. However, during an interview with ETimes post coming out of the show, Mannara called Munawar her true friend. But when she came to know about Munawar's comment about her kissing him. The actress was left in discomfort and mentioned that if Munawar had actually made such a weird statement, he would have to come up and offer a public apology to her.
