Millie Bobby Brown (MBB) is among the lead faces in Netflix’s popular sci-fi series, Stranger Things. The very talented British actress is not only known for her acting skills but also for being engaged at a very young age. MBB is just 19 years old, however, as per her, if someone finds the ‘one’ in their life, then age hardly matters.
Millie is climbing the stairs of success one after the other. The actress has gained popularity for her portrayal of ‘Eleven’ in Stranger Things and the titular character in the detective film, Enola Holmes and its sequel, Enola Holmes 2. Along with a successful career, Millie is also having a blissful time with her fiance, Jake Bongiovi. Recently, in an interview with The Sunday Times, the actress discussed her work, relationship with Jake Bongiovi, and friendships in the industry.

Millie Bobby Brown was sure about her now-fiance, Jake Bongiovi since the day she met him. The actress might be young, but she realised that Jake was definitely going to be a huge part of her life. In the interview, Millie could not stop gushing over her 21-year-old fiance. She said:
"I ran to my mum and said, ‘I really, really like him!’ After we met, we knew we never wanted to leave each other’s side. You can’t pinpoint why, it’s just the feeling of knowing that that’s the person you want to spend the rest of your time with. The one thing that made clear sense to me was him. So, I didn’t really have to do much thinking.”
For the unversed, Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi announced their engagement via their respective Instagram handles on April 11, 2023. Jake Bongiovi is an actor and model, and he is the son of rock legend, Jon Bon Jovi.
Millie Bobby Brown was caught holding hands with her then-best buddy forever, Jake Bongiovi, during a walk in New York City in June 2021. This fuelled rumours of a possible romance between the duo. The couple made their relationship official when they debuted on the red carpet together in March 2022, and they have since shared numerous images of their PDA-filled moments on their respective Instagram profiles.
In the same interview, MBB shared that Jake Bongiovi proposed to her with one of her mother’s rings. She said:
“I’ve always loved that ring, it’s always stuck out to me, so she gave it to Jake. They were in cahoots about the whole proposal. I love that I can always keep a piece of my mum with me.”

The 19-year-old also expressed that her parents, Robert Brown and Kelly Brown, are ‘super happy’ and ‘adore’ her fiance. Even Jake’s parents, Jon Bon Jovi and Dorothea Hurley, are on board with their relationship. Talking about the same, MBB said:
"His family are wonderful people who welcomed me with open arms. I’m really grateful to be a part of their world.”
Millie and Jake’s fans have been eagerly waiting for the duo to tie the knot as soon as possible. The former mentioned in the interview that they have yet to decide a date for their wedding. She further added that she's been ‘weighing options’ for a wedding gown, with many designers approaching her every now and then.
In her interview with The Sunday Times, MBB said she does not have too many friends in the industry. Millie opened up about how she has an extensive support unit, but she does not have many friends, who are a part of the showbiz. She said:
“I have a huge support unit and I think when you have friends who genuinely care about you it’s a huge help. I don’t have many industry friends at all, just Noah (Schnapp) and some friends from college.”
Millie said she is ready for the ‘wrap-up’ of her sci-fi show, Stranger Things. She mentioned that now all she wants is to step onto the next chapter in her life. She said:
“I’m definitely ready to wrap up. I’m ready to say goodbye to this chapter of my life and open new ones up. It’s like graduating high school. You’re ready to go and blossom and flourish, and you’re grateful for the time you’ve had, but it’s time to create your own message and live your own life.”
