Mrunal Thakur is one of the most loved actresses of the current generation. She started her career in the television industry and worked in some popular serials like Mujhse Kuchh Kehti..Yeh.. Recently, media reports were rife with her ongoing wedding rumours with a Telugu actor. And now, finally, Mrunal has reacted to the same.
On November 3, 2023, Mrunal Thakur took to her Instagram stories and dropped a video of herself. In the monochrome video, the actress can be seen addressing her ongoing wedding rumours with a Telugu actor. Mrunal brushed off the rumours and denied getting married for the time being. Mentioning that she has been receiving calls from her family and designers ever since the news of her wedding surfaced in the media, Mrunal said:
"Hi, I am sorry to break your hearts, guys. To all the stylists, designers, friends and family, who have been calling me constantly for the past one hour when they got to know that I am getting to some Telugu guy. I also want to know who this boy is in the first place."

Further, in the same video, Mrunal mentioned that the rumours about her wedding are extremely funny as she just received blessings for marriage. She added that she would get married soon, and she sarcastically asked her fans to find a good match for her. Elaborating more about it, Mrunal said:
"And secondly, sorry. I am so sorry. Ye galat affaah hai kyunki mujhe sirf blessings mili thi. It is so funny that I can't even express how funny this rumour is. But having said that, hogi shaadi jaldi. Ladka aap hi dhoond do, bas bata dena mujhe. Location, venue, sab bhej dena. Thik hai."
Mrunal Thakur's wedding rumours went viral on the internet like fire when a report in News18 mentioned that the actress is head over heels in love with a Telugu actor. According to the reports, the actress could get married to the man of her dreams soon. Soon after the reports went viral, her fans had been eagerly waiting for the official confirmation from Mrunal.

Mrunal Thakur's wedding rumours started when producer, Allu Arvind hinted at her wedding during an award show. As he graced the stage to present the Best Female Actor award to Mrunal for her acting skills in the film, Sita Ramam, the producer mentioned that he wanted the actress to settle down in Hyderabad. Blessing Mrunal to get married soon, Allu Arvind said:
"I want her to settle down in Hyderabad."
Earlier, in a conversation with Ranveer Allahbadia, Mrunal Thakur opened up about her heartbreak. Talking about the same, the actress mentioned that she was dating a guy, but they broke up in August 2021. Revealing the reason behind their separation, Mrunal mentioned that he was uncomfortable with her profession and her impulsive behaviour. In her words:
"He ran away. He was like, 'You are too impulsive, I can't deal with this', 'You're an actress, I can't deal with this.' But I understand where he is coming from - a very orthodox background. And I don't blame him, I think it's his upbringing. In a way, it's good that the chapter ended. Because in the future, when we raise our kids, his upbringing would not be the same as my upbringing towards my kids… The kids would be like, 'Uh, kya ho raha hai."
