The stunning actress, Nayanthara is going to be seen next in critically-acclaimed director, Atlee’s much-awaited film, Jawan. The film has a stellar cast, including Shah Rukh Khan, Vijay Sethupati, Sunil Grover, Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani, and a cameo by Deepika Padukone.

However, if we talk about Nayanthara’s remuneration for the film, as per multiple reports, she reportedly charged a sum between Rs. 11 crores to Rs. 30 crores for working in Atlee’s Jawan. Although there’s no official confirmation about the same as of now, but the above-mentioned numbers are echoing in the media corridors at the moment. If we look at the fees charged by other actors, it will definitely drop your jaw. As per reports, Shah Rukh Khan charged a sum of Rs. 100 crores after the massive success of Pathaan.
The film’s antagonist and extremely -talented actor, Vijay Sethupati reportedly took home Rs. 21 crores. However, what’s the biggest surprise is the fact that Deepika Padukone charged somewhere between Rs. 15 crores to Rs. 30 crores for just a cameo in the film. It’s interesting to see the massive gap in the reported fees of Nayanthara and Deepika, which, if true, speaks volumes about the latter’s status in India. Other than the lead actors, Priymani and Sanya Malhotra both charged Rs. 1 crore, respectively.

During the promotion of the film, Jawan, Nayanthara was getting a lot of love from the audiences as people were anxiously waiting to see her chemistry with the King of romance, Shah Rukh Khan, on the big screen. However, amidst the hype around Nayanthara and Shah Rukh’s chemistry, some reports suggested that the lady superstar wasn’t the first choice for the film. As per the reports, the makers of the film, Jawan approached Samantha Ruth Prabhu for the movie, and when she turned down the offer, they turned to Nayanthara, who accepted it immediately.
If the reports are to be believed, Samantha was looking to start a family with her then-husband, Naga Chaitanya, when the makers of Jawan approached her, and she reportedly chose starting a family over a film opposite Shah Rukh. However, people still await an official statement from the film's producers on these claims. Meanwhile, the reports continue to surprise people unaware of the same.
