Recently, she gave her first live singing performance at a Mumbai Music Festival.
A few moments back, while scrolling through our IG feed, we stumbled upon a video of Parineeti Chopra from her live singing performance. In the video, the actress was heard singing the song, Aaj Jaane Ki Zid Na Karo, and her voice swooned many hearts. Talking about her look, Parineeti was dressed in a black blazer paired with a shimmery top and matching shorts. She confidently sang the song, and the audience cheered for her.

It looks like Parineeti Chopra's singing skills failed to impress the netizens and they slammed her brutally. Reacting to the video, one user penned, "Bas kar maata .. politician se shadi krli iska matlab ye nahi logo ke kaan khaaygi." Another wrote, "Bahut achi voice hai, next time mute karke upload karna reel." Meanwhile, a third netizen commented, "Wow, what a hidden talent! Please keep this hidden."

No matter how much Parineeti got slammed for her singing performance, her husband, Raghav Chadha made sure to cheer for her. On January 31, 2024, Raghav shared a picture of his wife from her live concert on his IG handle and penned a heartfelt note for her. In his long note, Raghav expressed his happiness over Parineeti's new career choice and lauded her for starting her journey in music. The doting husband wrote:
"My rock star, my nightingale, my own personal melody queen - as a trained classical singer with music in your soul—you breathe life into lyrics, Paru! I’m totally in awe (and so excited) as you finally step onto this new path you’ve been longing to tread since so long. Go ahead and rock the world, my girl! I’m always gonna be here; rooting for you and cheering you on. PS: Finally the world will get to see the free concerts I get at home everyday. Haha."

Earlier, in an interview with the Hindustan Times, Parineeti Chopra talked about her husband, Raghav Chadha's role in her singing career. She shared that he motivated her to reshape her career and develop her singing skills. Mentioning that she wanted to start her singing career for a long time, Parineeti credited her husband for encouraging her to enter the music industry. She was quoted as saying:
"I got married to a person who motivates me every day, he’s my backbone and literally made me take that step. He himself is a public personality and deals with people every single day. He sees I am passionate about music, and said I should finally do it. A lot of factors came together."
