One of the cutest couples of the entertainment industry, Raqesh Bapat and Shamita Shetty, leads all the headlines after the latter opened up about their marriage plans. Now, it is the actor, who has shared his thoughts about their marriage and revealed what he has in common with Shamita. The two had met inside Bigg Boss OTT's house and were seen by each other's side no matter what. Their relationship had become like that of a married couple, who could neither stay away nor stop fighting. But, outside the BB OTT house, they had decided to work on their relationship and now that Shamita is inside Bigg Boss 15's house.
For the unversed, Raqesh Bapat was earlier married to Ridhi Dogra. The duo had tied the knot on May 29, 2011. However, Raqesh and Ridhi had parted ways in 2019.

In an interview with ETimes, Raqesh Bapat addressed his ladylove, Shamita Shetty's vow to get married in 2022 and her statement about not knowing the man yet to whom she would like to marry. The actor revealed his thoughts on the same and stated that he agrees with Shamita's statement on the prospect of marriage. Raqesh stated that he also thinks the same that he and Shamita haven't got enough time to spend with each other. He also added that he needs some more time to understand Shamita to take the final call of tying the knot with each other. He said:
"Whatever decision is taken, it will be taken by both of us and with a clear mind. It is important that we spend time together because I agree with her that we haven't got much time to spend together to gauge things. So, let's hope for the best."
In one of the recent episodes of Bigg Boss 15, Janardhan Baba had come to reveal the future of all the contestants. The astrologer had told Shamita that her 'yog' is going to be great in the coming months and had also added that she would marry an ordinary man. He had also added that Shamita's husband's luck would shine after marriage, and the two would have a happy married life, enjoying all the riches of life. When Shamita had asked Janardhan Baba about kids, he had said that she would have two - a girl and a boy. This had made Shamita happy.

After her conversation with Janardhan Baba, an elated Shamita Shetty was seen talking to fellow contestant, Nishant Bhat. She had announced her marriage plans to Nishant and had shared that she's not sure who she will marry. She had told Nishant:
"I am going to get married this year. I don't know the man yet."
After the wrap of Bigg Boss OTT, Raqesh Bapat and Shamita Shetty had made their relationship official. On September 24, 2021, Raqesh Bapat and Shamita Shetty were spotted at her sister, Shilpa Shetty Kundra's restaurant, Bastian, for a date. Later, he had shared a picture from their dinner date, holding each other's hand on the dinner table, on his IG handle. Raqesh had captioned the picture as "U and I," with a red heart emoji and a hashtag that read '#ShaRa', the nickname given by their fans.
