Rashami Desai has been openly expressing her opinions on things which she feels are wrong. After bashing her best friend, Ankita Lokhande's mother-in-law openly, Rashmi Desai shared her opinion on Ranveer Singh and Johnny Sins' latest advertisement, which discusses men's sexual healthcare. Rashmi shared feeling humiliated as a television artist and added that it felt like a 'slap'.
On February 12, 2024, Rashami took to her Instagram handle and posted an IG story about and how she started her acting journey in a regional film and then entered television. She added that normal people watch television for news, cricket and Bollywood films, but the advertisement talking about men's sexual health with a pun is unexpected. She added it felt like a humiliation to the entire TV industry.
"I've started my work from a regional film industry. And then started working in television industry. People call it a small screen. Where normal people watch news, cricket, all the #Bollywood films also and much more. After watching this reel, which is highly unexpected, I felt it’s a humiliation to all the TV industry and people who work in television."

Rashami further added that TV artists are treated as smaller ones. She added that Television doesn't show everything as it happens on the big screen, and there is nothing wrong with it. She added it felt like a slap as a television artist. She wrote:
"Because we always made feel smaller and treated like one. Actors really wanna work on big screen too, this is exactly how we get treated. Everyone is working hard. But I’m sorry, TV show pe sab nahi dikhate (People don’t show it). This all happens on big screen. And nothing wrong in showing some reality but this is really check for all the TV industry because I feel it’s a slap."
Rashami concluded her note by stating that she might be an overreaction, but they show culture and love to the audience. Rashami further added that she is hurt as she has a respectful journey on television.
After Ankita's mother-in-law entered the show, an interview of her went viral, wherein she revealed that her family wasn't in favour of their son, Vicky to marry an actress. She also added that it takes a lot of effort to take care of an actress. In the clip that went viral, Vicky's mother made a mean remark and said:
"Heroino ko palna ho toh toh mehnat toh karni he padti hain, saralta se toh aa nahin jaati hain. Bahut nakhre hote hain aur bahut paisa bhi gavana padta hain. Tab nakhre poore hote hain".
However, Ankita's best friend, Rashami Desai penned a note. Rashami revealed that her close friend, Ankita, did this show for her husband, Vicky Jain's happiness. She also quoted her statement, 'kharche palna padta' and referred to Ankita as 'khara sona'. An excerpt from Rashami's angry note atop the video can be read as:
"And Kharche palna padta hai ka kya Matlab hua aunty???? They both had love marriage and usse pehle bhi wo road par nah thi. She's Ankita Lokhande. Bhale big boss aapke bete par paisa lagye. Ladki hamari bhi Khara Sona hai. Sab ki apni ladai hoti hai. Par aap nahi chahti inki shadi tike ?? Har Pati-patni main jhagde hote hai. Aur show bhi difficult hai. 2 din main aapke yeh haal hai. 4 mahine, nakalegi to aap taqleef samjhengi."
