Rubina Dilaik and Abhinav Shukla welcomed their twin baby girls on the occasion of Gurupurab. The couple kept the news of their baby girls' hidden for one month. A day after Christmas, they announced the arrival of their princesses with their fans and also revealed their unique names —Jeeva and Edhaa. Recently, the doting mommy shared glimpses of her New Year with her two precious gems, and it is adorable.
On January 1, 2023, Rubina took to her Instagram handle and posted lovely photos on her Instagram handle. In the first picture, we can see Rubina and Abhinav holding their daughters in baby carriers and they look adorable together. In another photo, we can see Rubina donning a Bodycon high-slit dress as she held her daughter in her arms. Along with it, Rubina penned a note, which can be read as:
"New beginnings, New Journey…. Welcoming #2024 as a Family of Four."

In the first-ever Vlog after her delivery, Rubina Dilaik revealed the meaning of her twin daughters' names. She revealed that Edhaa is the name of her elder daughter, while Jeeva is her younger one. Rubina also shared that her daughters are named after goddesses, and both of the names have Sanskrit origin. The actress revealed that Edhaa means 'prosperity', while Jeeva means 'lifeline'.
On November 28, 2023, Rubina started a new series on her Vlog called Kisi Ne Bataya Nahi - the Mamacado Show. In the first episode, she shared her pregnancy journey and revealed that she would be blessed with twins. While the couple was left in shock, Rubina had an accident during the first trimester. She recalled the scary incident and how a truck rammed into her car.
Talking about the same, Rubina revealed that the horrific incident left her terrified. She was scared thinking about her babies, who were growing inside her. So, they arranged for an emergency sonography as she was dying to know if her babies were safe or not. Rubina was quoted as saying:
"First scan ke baad hum ghar aaye. And I had this car accident. Mai signal par thi aur peeche se ek truck aaya and it rammed into my car, and I was of course not prepared, it just came like a shock, and I hit the saamne wala seat. And the shock was such that pehle mai peeche wali seat par hit ki fir aage wali seat par sir baja. Vo din aaj bhi mere jehan mein itna refreshing hai."
Talking about selecting her babies' names, Rubina stated that she and Abhinav have already decided on four names, two for girls and two for boys. Rubina added that she and Abhinav wanted their daughters' names to have that connection and meaning as well. Rubina mentioned that her daughters are non-identical twins, which means they have different personalities and different facial features.
