The drama became so popular over the course of its run that Rupali Ganguly bagged the position of the highest-paid Indian TV actress, charging over Rs. 3 Lakh per episode.
While scrolling through our social media, we came across a throwback video of Rupali, in which she can be seen roasting Bigg Boss 13 contestant Shehnaaz Gill. For the uninitiated, Shehnaaz Gill is an Indian actress who gained widespread fame after appearing in BB13. She then worked in several Bollywood movies, including Thank You For Coming, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, Honsla Rakh, and more.

There is no denying the fact that Bigg Boss 13 was a massive success, and no other season comes closer to its glory. However, apart from garnering much love and appreciation from the audience, Shehnaaz Gill was also at the receiving end of severe mockery for her cringe and seemingly fake child-like innocence. Talking about the same, Rupali Ganguly roasted Shehnaaz for her overacting and cringe drama.
Rupali seemed quite miffed with Shehnaaz and indirectly took a jibe at her, imitating her style of talking. Rupali further added, “Aisa kon kata hai yaar? Like seriously, Who does that? Agar yeh dikhoge toh bohot trolling hogi meri.” Netizens mostly agreed with Rupali and backed her opinion on Shehnaaz and even added that the BB13 alum acts cute and innocent to gain attention.

A few days back, Rupali Ganguly was papped at the Mumbai airport with her husband, Ashwin K Verma, and their son, Rudransh. Before entering the airport, Rupali bid adieu to her family and was seen touching her husband’s feet and taking his blessings. Seeing his mother, their son, Rudransh, too, copied Rupali and touched his father’s feet. The family of three then hugged each other before Rupali entered the airport, bidding goodbye to her family.
This caused quite a ruckus on social media. Some were delighted to see Rupali following the age old traditions on Indian while many were miffed with her actions. As per a section of society, these feet-touching norms are repressing and should not be followed.
