Giving a savage response to the constant comparisons between young actors and ageing superstars of Bollywood, Salman Khan named five actors, including himself, who can still give them a run for their money. The actor stated that he, Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgn are still here and still possess that aura and dominance at the box office. Salman also added that none of them is leaving the stage anytime soon, as their films are also performing well at the box office. However, he took a dig at some young actors, who hike their fees even when their films aren’t performing well. Taking a jibe at the so-called young superstars of Bollywood, Salman said:

"We (Akshay Kumar, Shah Rukh Khan, Ajay Devgn, Salman Khan and Aamir Khan) will make them run for their money. We are not retiring anytime soon. Our films also work and so we hike our fees. Seeing that, they also increase their fee even when their films are not working."

Further, in the same press conference, Salman Khan also explained how some filmmakers don’t understand the audience. He added that for some young directors, India is from Andheri to Colaba, and they think that they’re ‘too cool’. The Bollywood superstar stated that India is quite different from what the ‘cool filmmakers’ show in their films. However, Salman also admitted that he hopes his words don’t bite him as his upcoming film, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, will soon hit theatres.
