India's ace tennis player, Sania Mirza, who is hailed as a legend, played her last Grand Slam match and ended up as a runner-up at the Australian Open. She made the entire world emotional when she announced her retirement. With teary eyes, Sania bared her heart out and announced that it was going to be her last Grand Slam. After her jaw-dropping performance in Australian Open, Sania got a surprise party from her rumoured ex-husband, Shoaib Malik.
On January 29, 2023, Sania Mirza took to her Instagram handle and posted how her family and friends surprised her with a party. In the first picture, Sania is seen cutting a cake with her son, Izhaan. The mother-son duo were twinning in blue-hued jackets. In the following video, we saw Sania's surprised reaction when she opened the door of her home.

Sania looked short of words as she was seen hugging her friends. We also got a glimpse of her husband, Shoaib Malik, who held a bunch of flowers. Sania gave him a warm hug, and Shoaib said, "Welcome home."

Alongside it, Sania expressed that her family surprised her for the first time. However, she didn't mention Shoaib Malik. She wrote:
"When you come home to this and realize you have the best friends and family in the world. My Dubai Fam Thank you guys Ps : For a change, I was actually surprised."

Rumours of Shoaib and Sania's separation have been making rounds since November 2022. Amidst it, Shoaib shared a special post for Sania after she played her last Grand Slam. He called her an inspiration for millions and revealed how proud he was of her. He wrote:
"You are the much-needed hope for all the women in sports. Super proud of you for all you have achieved in your career. You're an inspiration for many, keep going strong. Many congratulations on an unbelievable career."
