Sania Mirza is considered as one of the greatest tennis players in the world. The tennis icon got married to the famous Pakistani cricketer, Shoaib Malik on April 12, 2010, at Hyderabad's Taj Krishna Hotel. Sania and Shoaib welcomed their first child, a baby boy, on October 30, 2018, and named him Izhaan Mirza Malik.
The cross-border love story of Sania and Shoaib ruled everyone's hearts for years before everything crashed on January 20, 2024, when the latter shared pictures from his third marriage with Sana Javed. A day later, on January 21, Sania Mirza made an official statement and confirmed her separation from Shoaib Malik after the latter's wedding pictures with his third wife, Sana broke the headlines.

Despite the separation, Sania Mirza is doing everything to be a great parent to her son, Izhaan Mirza Malik. The tennis legend is leaving no stone unturned in moving forward in her life. Everyone saw a glimpse of the same on February 24, 2024, when Sania took to her Instagram stories and posted a picture and a video from a swimming competition. In the picture, Sania can be seen posing with her son, Izhaan, who is looking away from the camera. The proud mommy was holding his medals in her hands and was looking towards Izhaan in awe of him. Atop the picture, she penned:
"@izhaanmirzamalik and we swam again today."
Sania Mirza also posted a video on her next IG story in which her son, Izhaan Mirza Malik can be seen coming out of the swimming pool and pointing his index finger to the camera as a sign that he came first in the competition. It was indeed a proud moment for Sania to see her son winning medals. It was indeed a proud moment for Sania as a parent, but one thing that caught a lot of people's attention was the absence of Sania's ex-husband and Izhaan's father, Shoaib Malik. There's no denying the fact that every child wants their mother and father to witness their victories.

The doting mother also dropped a series of pictures on Izhaan's personal Instagram handle. Along with the lovely pictures from the competition, Sania penned just two words, 'before-after' in the caption, along with a few emojis. In the comment section of Izhaan's post, we saw his maternal grandmother, Nasima Mirza's congratulatory comment that reads:
"My super champion in swimming".
Congratulations to Izhaan Mirza Malik on winning two medals. We hope he continues to make his mommy, Sania Mirza, proud!
