Shah Rukh Khan has been the undisputed badshaah of Bollywood for decades now, and there can be no second thoughts about the kind of attention and fame that he commands over his fans. Moreover, with every successive year, the actor pleases his fans by bringing forth the epitome of his versatility through his unparalleled performances in films. Off lately, the actor has been basking in the success of his consecutive films, Pathaan, Jawan and Dunki. Moreover, his daughter, Suhana has also followed in his footsteps and made her debut with The Archies. On the other hand, his son, Aryan is set to take up the directorial hat and bring his web-series, Stardom.
In an interaction with MBC Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan opened up about the prospect of his elder children, Aryan Khan and Suhana Khan taking his legacy forward and making a name for themselves in the entertainment world. The actor revealed how both of them have been witnesses to some of the most successful phases of his life, and stood by him during his achievements. In his words:
“There have been instances when I’ve reacted as an actor or as a star, and they’ve stood by me. Sometimes they’ve celebrated with me without fully grasping the significance of those moments in my life.”

Well, SRK’s children, Aryan and Suhana have followed in the footsteps of their father and have chosen Bollywood as the field of their career. While the latter has already made her silver screen debut and has landed on a couple of projects thereafter, Aryan, on the other hand, will be directing his first-ever web-series. Highlighting on the achievements of his children, SRK said:
“I’m happy that now they are into films and it’s a choice they made. I and Gauri, as a family, never told them to do this or that, they were free to choose what they wished to. One of them chose to be an actor-my daughter. My son decided to learn direction, so both of them are in films. The son is directing the film and the daughter has already acted in one film.”
In the concluding section of the interview, Shah Rukh Khan talked about what he wishes, his children, Aryan and Suhana learn, now that they are into the film business. He revealed that both of them will perhaps now understand what actually went through in their father’s life, and maybe treat him more kindly. Elaborating more, he said:
“I think they will both understand the 10-12 years of what they have gone through with me, and maybe they will take me more kindly and be nicer and gentler with me. Perhaps they will realise that I was making too much of a nothing and its great fun to be acting. I wish them the best. I wish them a lot of hard work.”

Previously, in an interaction with News18, Shah Rukh Khan talked about his decision to take a four-year-long break post his film, Zero, in 2018. HE revealed how he never considered that period of time as a break, and instead utilised it by spending some time with himself. Moreover, he called himself to be an internally lazy person, who takes time to sign films and doesn’t do it in a jiffy.
