Recently, a Reddit user shared a throwback video of Shah Rukh Khan from his appearance on Karan Johar's talk show, Koffee With Karan, with his wife, Gauri Khan. During his interaction, SRK was seen talking about how his friendship with KJo blossomed, and he revealed that hey were kids when they started off. However, the actor took a hilarious dig at KJo's age and left him in splits. Shah Rukh said:
"I remember we were kids when we started off. I don't know about Karan, but atleast I was."

Shah Rukh Khan, who is renowned for his witty nature and excellent humour, once again left everyone impressed. As soon as the video was shared on Reddit, the netizens flooded the comment section with hilarious comments. They lauded SRK for his wit and claimed that his humour is difficult to understand. Meanwhile, a social media user also appreciated Gauri for always being unwavering and mentioned how her elder kids, Aryan and Suhana are like her.

November 2, 2021, marked Shah Rukh Khan's 56th birthday, and Karan Johar took to his Instagram handle to share memorable pictures with his BFF as a token of their more than a decade-long friendship. However, it was his heart-melting note in the caption that left the internet in meltdown. In his note, Karan recalled his first-ever meeting with Shah Rukh on the sets of the film, Karan Arjun, and thanked him for shaping his career. His note could be read as:
"I met him on the sets of Karan Arjun for the first time …. I tagged along with my father to hang out with Kajol… not realising i was going to meet a man who would go on to shape my life , my career and my very being ….his charisma and intelligence is a globally known fact … but I have the privilege of witnessing his humanity and heart."

Karan Johar and Shah Rukh Khan's friendship is known worldwide, but not many know that the duo once maintained a distance from each other. In his memoir, An Unsuitable Boy, Karan recalled the only time when he had a rift with Shah Rukh and shared that it was the success party of the film, Piku, where he had hugged his BFF, seeing him after a long time. Talking about the beautiful moment, KJo wrote:
"Shah Rukh is a very possessive friend. I think I may have hurt him when I made a film without him. And I think I got hurt because when I did, I felt he didn't give me that paternal or fraternal feeling that I had from him otherwise. I think we were two hurt friends for no reason. I hugged him instinctively and said, 'I've missed you.' And he said, 'You've no idea how much I've missed you.' We had this moment."
