And now, her sister, Shaheen Bhatt revealed her first reaction when she saw Alia as a bride. For the unversed, Alia Bhatt tied the knot with the man of her dreams, Ranbir Kapoor on April 14, 2022.
In an interview with Bollywood Bubble, Shaheen Bhatt recalled her sister, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor's intimate yet surreal wedding. Talking about the same, she even revealed her first reaction when she saw her sister as a bride. When asked about her parents' reaction to Alia's bridal look, Shaheen stated that she didn't notice their reaction as she was emotional and her eyes were full of tears. Calling it an overwhelming moment, Shaheen said:
"I don't know because I couldn't see. I just had tears in my eyes. I couldn't see anything. So, for me, it was a really overwhelming and emotional moment. It was a beautiful moment but I actually have no idea how everyone else was dealing with it because I was so overwhelmed myself."

In the same conversation, Shaheen also opened up about missing staying with Alia. Talking about the same, she mentioned that she definitely misses living with her sister, but they spend a lot of time with each other, even after Alia's wedding. In her words:
"Of course, I miss it, but I spend a lot of time with her, as much time as I possibly can with my family. We make it a point to do that, so I definitely miss it but I think that we are making up for it."
Alia Bhatt made some unconventional decisions in her life, from getting married to becoming a mother at the peak of her career. She even received a lot of hate when she announced her pregnancy. However, it was her sister, Shaheen, who supported her decision and gave a befitting reply to the haters. In one of her interviews with News18, Shaheen stated that she would not speak for Alia as it was her journey. However, Shaheen added that negativity would always be there, and one cannot please everyone.

For her dreamy wedding, Alia Bhatt opted for a subtle look. The diva looked beautiful as she donned an ivory-hued organza saree that featured golden embroidery all over it. Alia styled her Sabyasachi Mukherjee saree with a matching blouse. A statement necklace, jhumkas, a matha patti, bangles, dewy makeup and open tresses added stars to Alia's bridal look.
