On February 5, 2024, Sonam Kapoor graced celebrity photographer, Apeksha Maker and her entrepreneur husband, Acash Awchat's grand wedding reception in Mumbai. For the occasion, she turned into a Gujarati bride and opted for a red-hued Bandhani saree with golden zari works and geometric patterns and teamed it with an embellished blouse. Sonam completed her look with a half-done hairdo adorned with gajras, and glam makeup, including kohl-rimmed eyes, nude lipstick and blushed and highlighted cheeks. Moreover, she accessorised her look with diamond-encrusted jewellery, including a broad necklace, matching earrings, a maang teeka, bangles and was seen carrying a golden-hued potli.

Talking about the newly-married couple, one look at Apeksha's IG profile, we can get an array of glimpses of her work with many eminent celebrities from the industry. Acash, on the other hand, is the director of three globally acclaimed restaurants in Mumbai and Dubai. For their wedding, the duo opted for white ensembles and looked simply ethereal together. The ace photographer stunned in a heavily embellished lehenga choli paired with a matching dupatta. She completed her look with subtle makeup, diamond statement jewellery and open tresses. In contrast, Acash looked dapper in a white bandhgala suit paired with matching-hued turban and doshala.
Time and again, Sonam gets spotted at her BFF's wedding, giving major friendship goals. Back on January 5, 2024, taking to her IG handle, Sonam posted an array of pictures from her look at her BFF's wedding. In the photos, she was seen wearing a multi-coloured Banarasi saree featuring real gold weave with a broad border and golden vintage tassels of shells and pearls.

She teamed her look with a matching short kurta and a similar-patterned dupatta embroidered with vintage mochi pieces over 60 years old. She teamed her look with silver jewellery, including dainty earrings, two broad neckpieces, and statement rings, payal, designed in ghungroo form and bangles, including a kangan and a tasselled one, is an antique piece that is more than 80-90 years old. Sheen makeup, open tresses and vintage-styled juttis featuring tassels completed her look.
Coming to her personal life, Sonam and her husband, Anand Ahuja are blessed with a beautiful son, Vayu Kapoor Ahuja, who is already 16 months old. Thus, the doting mommy never fails to ace all her motherly duties. However, within these months post her delivery, she has finally found herself back. On January 4, 2024, Sonam posted some surreal pictures of herself dressed in a traditional outfit on her IG handle. Along with it, she talked about regaining herself in her heartfelt note. She revealed how she managed to feel like herself again after 16 months of giving birth, and how she regained her pre-pregnancy body without strict diets or rigorous workouts. She wrote:
"It’s taken me 16 months to feel like myself again. Slowly steadily without any crash diets and crazy workouts just consistent self care and baby care. I’m not there yet but almost where I want to be.. still very very grateful for my body and how incredible it has been.
