Sooraj Pancholi has gone through the worst phase of his life. It all started after Jiah Khan committed suicide, in June 2013, and Sooraj Pancholi was accused of abetment of suicide by the late actress' mother, Rabia Khan. After fighting a decade-long case, Sooraj is getting back to life, and trying to make a career for himself in the films. Recently, Sooraj talked about his love life and how he has been in a steady relationship.
Recently, in an interview with The Times Of India, Sooraj talked about his past relationship with Jiah Khan and called it his shortest relationship. Sooraj added that after Jiah Khan's suicide and the ordeal he went through, he has been dating someone for the past seven years. He called his relationship beautiful. Talking about the same, Sooraj said:
"I think my relationship with Jiah was probably the shortest relationship I have had. After that, I have been in one relationship and it’s been about seven years now, and it is beautiful. There’s nothing in the world that can match up to the feeling being in love, being taken care of, and doing the same for the other person."

Things in Sooraj's life took a sour turn when his 26-year-old actress-girlfriend, Jiah Khan AKA Nafisa Khan had committed suicide. While it was a great loss for the industry, the blame was put on her then-boyfriend, Sooraj Pancholi. The actor maintained a dignified silence and opened up about it for the first time in 2019. In an interview with Pinkvilla, Sooraj talked about his struggles. He shared about the ordeals he faced inside the jail, and had said:
"I was put in the Anda cell at the Arthur Road jail which is the most secluded cell. You have no contact with anyone and you don't even get newspapers. I was completely numb. At that point, nothing mattered. All that I kept thinking was that I lost someone who I loved."
Over the years, Sooraj had not opened much about his relationship deets. The actor further shared the reason for staying silent and stated that he was respecting her family. as they have been through a lot. However, they only cared about TRPs. Sooraj also revealed that there were times when he was in the court and things were in his favour and a lot of journalists were there. But they never wrote about the positive story for him.
