Sreejita De and her hubby, Michael Blohm-Pape are living the best phase of life as they recently exchanged the sacred vows of the wedding. For the unversed, the much-in-love duo hopped onto their forever journey on June 30, 2023. There's no denying the fact that the duo left everyone's jaw dropped with the glimpse of their white wedding. However, July 16, 2023, marked Sreejita's 33rd birthday, and for that special day, her hubby's post was simply unmissable. For the uninformed, it was Srjeeta's first birthday post her wedding, and the actress recently talked about the same.
In an interview with ETimes, Sreejita De opened up about her first birthday post her wedding. The actress shared how she spent her special day and revealed that instead of hosting parties, she had a very cosy birthday at her home. Talking about the same, Sreejita mentioned that since when she and her hubby started dating, they had celebrated her birthdays at other places away from home, but this year they ditched the extravagant plans and chose to stay at home. She shared that she told her husband that she wants to be at home and cherish moments with him and their fur babies rather than having grand gestures. Sreejita revealed:
"I just wanted to cherish moments with him and our beloved dogs without any grand gestures or special activities.”

In the same interview, the newly-wed bride, Sreejita De, shared how her doting husband, Michael Blohm-Pape, surprised her on her special day. Elaborating more on the same, Sreejita shared that her hubby made her wake up in the middle of the night when she was halfway asleep. The actress shared that her husband decorated their house with candles, balloons, and lights, which was dreamlike to Sreejita. Sreejita shared that, on July 16, 2023, she and hubby went out for a candlelight dinner and didn't intentionally include any friends as she wanted it to be very personal. The actress shared that everything turned out to be cosy, utterly charming, and filled with romance and warmth.
Further in the interview, Sreejita De was asked about changing her surname as she is now married. The actress revealed that she will keep her surname and will add her husband's to it. Sreejta shared that she is now Sreejita De Blohm-Pape and she is now thinking of changing her on her IG handle as well. Sreejita mentioned:
"On the day of our legal marriage, I officially became Sreejita De Blohm-Pape. Now that we are legally married, I felt it was time for the world to know my new name. That’s why I decided to change my name on Instagram as well.”

On July 16, 2023, Sreejita De's doting hubby, Michael Blohm-Pape took to his IG handle and dropped an unseen photo from their wedding to wish her wifey on her birthday. The portrait was way too eye-soothing to get over with it. In the photo, we could see the husband-wife jodi was lost in their eyes. Both of them looked extremely elegant in their respective wedding ensembles. Sharing the picture, Michael penned a cute caption, which could be read as:
"Happy birthday to my best friend, my confidante, my lover, soulmate, my WIFE!"
We also had a glimpse of the beautiful decor of their home by Michael on Sreejita's birthday. Pink, red, and golden balloons and a 'happy birthday' banner were seen hanging on the wall. Sreejita looked cute in her nightsuit. Michael also posted glimpses from their dinner date, wherein we could see them indulging in a sweet lip-lock moment.
