Bollywood actress, Sunny Leone, who rose to fame in India with her stint in the reality show, Bigg Boss 17, has been enjoying the best phase of her life. She is married to Daniel Weber, and they are parents of three adorable children. However, not many know that Sunny's journey from working in adult films to Bollywood hasn't been easy. In the midst of it, she faced a lot of challenges and major heartbreaks. The actress first time opened up about being cheated on just two months before her grand wedding.
Sunny Leone is hosting the dance reality show, MTV Splitsvilla X5 along with Tanuj Virwani. In the latest episode of the show, Sunny revealed that her ex-partner cheated on her just two months before their wedding. It all started when Sunny consoled one of the contestants, Dewangini and in the process, she recalled her own heartbreaking story.

Sunny revealed that she was once engaged before her marriage with her husband. The actress was about to tie the knot in a destination wedding. However, she had a gut feeling that something was wrong. When she asked her ex-fiance if he loved her, he denied. She later got to know that he was cheating on her. The actress further added:
"This was two months before our wedding. A destination wedding in Hawaii, the dress was picked, everything was done... And it was like the worst feeling ever. But then God does amazing things and sends an angel, my current husband who was there when my mom passed away, and also when my dad passed away. And he has been here since. There is a bigger, greater plan for you and you deserve the best."
Sunny Leone's real name is Karenjit Kaur Vohra. She was born in Canada to an Indian family and moved to India a few years ago. Recently, in interaction with Mid-day’s Sit With Hitlist series, Sunny revealed the reason behind picking up her name and why her mom hated it. The actress shared that she was doing a lot of part-time work when a magazine in the US interviewed her. And when they asked her stage name, she in a hurry answered, Sunny.
Sunny Leone further added that she told the magazine to pick up the last name on their own, and so they used Leone. She was quoted as saying:
"I was in the US doing an interview for a magazine and they said, 'What do you want your name to be?' I couldn’t think of anything at that moment. I was working at a tax and retirement firm and I worked for the HR department, accounting department, and another agent. I helped with all these things, and then I was also a receptionist. So, I was doing the interview in this place and I knew I had to get off the phone soon and get back to work, because I would get caught. And they were like 'what would you like your name to be' and I said, 'Use Sunny as my first name, and then you can pick the last name'."
Further in the interview, Sunny revealed that the name belonged to her brother, whose real name is Sandeep Singh, but the family called him 'Sunny'. Her mom was left disappointed as she picked her brother's name. She was quoted as saying:
"Sunny is my brother's nickname. His name is Sandeep Singh, we call him Sunny. My mom hated that I named myself Sunny. She said, 'Out of all the names, that's the one you pick?' I was like, yeah, it's just what came to my mind… And then the magazine picked the last name and I just kept it."
