Fast forward to January 10, 2024, and Kriti Sanon and Shahid Kapoor announced the title of their upcoming film, which is Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya. For the unversed, the film's title is based on the iconic song of famous Canadian singer, Raghav's song, Teri Baaton, which was released in 2004.

In the film's official poster, Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon can be seen sharing an intimate moment, and it instantly made people fall in love with their chemistry. The film is directed by Amit Joshi and Aradhana Sah, and it will be released in theatres this year's Valentine's week on February 9, 2024,
For the unversed, back in December 2022, when Kriti Sanon took to her Instagram handle and posted a lovely picture with Shahid Kapoor, she captioned it with a little note that reads, "Back to Bay with my BAE, also a Maddock Film is on the way." However, within minutes of posting the picture, Kriti changed the caption of her picture with Shahid, and her updated caption could be read as "KS with SK". The netizens were quick to spot this change, and they started speculating that Shahid's wife, Mira Rajput Kapoor is the reason why Kriti changed it.
One user stated that it was an inappropriate caption by Kriti Sanon because Shahid Kapoor is a married man; hence, she shouldn't use the word 'bae' while addressing him. Not only this, one user even started speculating that Mira Rajput Kapoor called Kriti and threatened her to change the caption of her picture as she is taking no chances after rumours of Kiara Advani allegedly getting closer to Shahid during the filming of Kabir Singh.

Luckily, Kriti Sanon's caption story was soon forgotten without making a big fuss in the media corridors. For the uninitiated, Kriti Sanon shares a friendly bond with her Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya co-star, Shahid Kapoor. Back in 2014, in a conversation with The Times Of India, Kriti reviewed Shahid's acting performance in the film Haider and admitted that she learned a lot just by watching him act on the big screen. The actress lauded Shahid for playing such a layered character with so much ease and perfection. She had said:
"The character of Hamlet is multi-layered, and Shahid has done an outstanding job at it. Only by watching the film, I got to learn so much."
