Uorfi Javed is one such television personality, who has frequently left the internet divided with her out-of-the-box choice of outfits and fashion statements. The diva often gets spotted by the paparazzi wearing a rather unusual kind of attire, which majorly boasts of being a work of DIY. From outfits featuring phone cases to dresses made with bandages, Uorfi seems to have been unstoppable in this department. Keeping up her trend yet again, the diva stunned everyone with her latest appearance, while announcing the launch of her new show.
On March 19, 2024, Uorfi Javed launched her own show titled Follow Kar Lo Yaar, that would be aired on streaming platform, Amazon Prime. However, it was the outfit the diva wore on the show’s launch that grabbed all the attention. Keeping up with the quirky trend of her costumes, Uorfi slipped into a sleeveless turtle neck top, which had an attached skirt on its hemline. The skirt was made out of a sheer solid structure and featured rotating solar system models, which became the USP of her ensemble. She completed her look by tying her hair in a bun, and opted for smokey eye makeup. A black choker, a pendant and high boots accentuated her look.

In another clip from the launch event that has surfaced, Uorfi Javed can be seen gracing the stage, as she opened up about her life. The diva, who would make her OTT debut with the show, stated that her life itself is a complex mix of all genres of entertainment, an aspect which she has tried to amalgamate in her show. In her words:
“Meri jo personal life hai na, usmein hi saare genres hai. There’s drama, trauma, there’s everything, love luck thoda kam, there’s spice, there’s violence, there’s everything. So I thought apna hi reality show karlete hai.”

Previously, during her appearance in the reality show, Bigg Boss OTT 2, Uorfi Javed opened up about certain unheard anecdotes from her life. She opened up about why she chooses to wear such bold, risky and revealing outfits most of the time. In conversation with the other contestants of the show, Uorfi shared that at the end of the day, it is her unusual and bizare sense of fashion that grabs attention, thereby helping her earn her livelihood and look after her family. In her words:
“Dheere dheere maine realise kiya ki mere kapdo ke wajah se mujhe attention mil rahi hai. Toh maine dimaag lagaya, iss attention ko aur use kar lete hai. I mean, jo bhi cheez mujhe mere ghar paalne mein help kar rahi hai, mere table pe khana aya hai, mere gharwale khush hai, main khush hoon, sahi hai.”

Earlier, in an interaction with The Humans Of Bombay, Uorfi Javed spoke about her struggle to find decent accommodation on rent in Mumbai. She mentioned facing frequent criticism over her personality and field of work, whenever she goes to search for a better home. Moreover, she added that she has been existing in a cramped 1 BHK home ever since she stepped into the city.
