Businesswoman, Upasana Kamineni Konidela is married to South Indian actor, Ram Charan. The duo has been happily married for over a decade and never misses a chance to paint the town red with their mushy glimpses. They are also blessed with a beautiful daughter, whom they lovingly named Klin Kaara Konidela. Now, in a detailed conversation, Upasana and Ram opened up about many unknown anecdotes about their relationship.
In an interview with the Hindustan Times, Upasana Kamineni was asked if being so much spotlight on her husband, Ram Charan, ever troubled her. The businesswoman was also asked if she ever felt lost in the actor's shadow. To this, Upasana instead said that she would rather like to become one, subtly hinting how such a thing never happened between her and Ram. Further, mentioning how Ram is his shadow, she said:
"I want that to happen, because they say behind every successful man there is a woman. When he is shining, it's great to be the shadow, and when I shine, he is secure enough to be mine."

In the same conversation, Upasana was asked if she and Ram's diverse professions ever made it difficult for her in their marital bliss. To this, the actress mentioned that it was tough in the initial phase of her married life. However, she gradually learnt to be part of Ram and his acting profession. For the unversed, Upasana has been behind the successful launching of various CSR programs at her family's hospital, Apollo. Talking about the changes, Upasana added:
"Previously, it was tough (being married to a star) I came from a different world. Now, i feel proud being his shadow. I learnt that there is so much beauty in being that person for him. He is that for me, and that support is really important. When you shine, there are so many things you are going through, and you need that one person to fall back on."
Further, Upasana added how, despite being a doting mommy to her daughter, she always tries hard to be the most productive at her work. She said, "Being a mom, it is a huge battle for me to be as productive at work as I was before. I am trying my best and know I am going to excel at it." Adding to her, Ram mentioned that her identity is not linked only to his popularity. Instead, praising her for all her works, the doting husband mentioned:
“Upasana is definitely not just a star wife, she surpasses that label with many roles. Her success extends beyond just the glittering realms of fame. Whether it's with our family at home or contributing significantly to her philanthropic projects, she excels in all roles due to her unwavering commitment and deep rooted family values. Upasana has beautifully carried forward her family legacy. Beyond being my wife, she's my rock and the force that keeps us together. I could truly never replicate what she does and she has truly carved her own incredible path.”

At another event, Upasana candidly spoke about spreading awareness regarding women’s health and pregnancy. She also mentioned having no regrets about embracing motherhood quite late in life. Afterwards, she made a startling revelation about her life. She mentioned telling her gynaecologist, who was also present there, that the celebrity wife is ready to have a second baby.
