Although, Gauri and Shah Rukh are the most amazing real-life couple, the actor's chemistry with Kajol in reel-life left people shipping them. Currently, we stumbled upon one such incident, when the famous Bollywood star, Varun Dhawan, mistook Shah Rukh's reel-life romance and ended up thinking Kajol was the actor's real wife.
Recently, an old video of Varun Dhawan from Comedy Nights With Kapil 2015 surfaced online. The episode also featured Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, and Kriti Sanon. However, as the video began, Varun shared that in his childhood, he used to think that Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol were husband and wife till he met Gauri Khan. Varun can be quoted as saying:
"Bachpan mein mujhe bhi aisa lagta tha. I thought you all were married. Till I met Gauri ma’am, obviously.”

Going further in the video, Varun revealed that once, he and his friends went to Mannat to collect funds for a charity, and all of a sudden, to his very surprise, Gauri Khan had opened the door, and he didn't feel it right. Varun further added that after the incident, he returned to his home and his mom told him that Gauri was Shah Rukh's real-life wife. However, Shah Rukh's reaction to the whole revelation was simply unmissable. Listening to Varun's side of the story, he started acting what could have been the former's reaction to Gauri opening the gates of Mannat. Mimicking what Varun might have been thinking in his head, SRK said:
"Tum kaun ho? Kajol ke ghar mein kya kar rahi ho tum."

Not many are aware of the fact that it was Shah Rukh Khan who was supposed to play the role of 'Zafar' in the movie, Kalank, but later, the role was offered to Varun Dhawan. However, during a media interaction, Varun was asked if he had talked to SRK about the film. To this, he added that he spoke to SRK about the film but not about how he should approach the role. Varun stated that Shah Rukh had watched the teaser of the film and appreciated the former's hard work. He encouraged Varun by saying that such good roles would bring him closer to the audience. For the unversed, Varun and SRK worked on the film, Dilwale.
