Recently, Vicky hosted an 'Ask Me Anything' session, revealing how he celebrated his first anniversary with Katrina. During the session, when a fan asked him that one thing about Ooty that connects him to it. The actor shared that he had celebrated his first wedding anniversary with Katrina. He also revealed that they had bhutta and Maggie and watched the lovely tea garden. He penned:
“Beautiful tea gardens and also me and Katrina celebrated our first wedding anniversary in Ooty when I was there for Sam Bahadur shoot having roadside Maggi and bhuttta, overlooking the lovely tea gardens. Simple joys of life."

During a promotional event in Dubai for the movie, Sam Bahadur, Vicky Kaushal shared that he has maximum pictures of his wife, Katrina Kaif, on his phone. He disclosed that he had almost 400-500 photos of Sam Bahadur while he was researching about him, and in that too, he had more photos of Katrina. He said:
"I have 400-500 pics for Sam Bahadur's research, even then the maximum pictures are of your bhabhi (Katrina)."
A few days ago, recalling the incident, Vicky told Pinkvilla that he had completed half of the shooting of his film, Zara Hatke Zara Bachke, before marriage, and he had to resume work within two days of his wedding. When Katrina got to know about it, she straight away threatened him not to marry her. Talking about the serious situation, Vicky was quoted as saying:
"I have done half of the film’s shooting before my marriage and then I took off for my marriage. Right after the marriage, within two days, they were calling me on the set. Toh fir mujh dhamki mil gayi thi ki tumhe do din baad set pe hi jana hai toh shaadi rehne hi do."
